It is true that a man should know not to stick his dick in crazy.

It is also prudent to take some simple, easy measures to protect yourself in the (hopefully rare) event something goes awry. Everyone thinks it can't happen to them.

Edit: Just noticed you're female. This is written for the male perspective. The situation is extremely asymmetric, as even most women should realize.

Creepy men approaching women is just adding to the problem. My gf gets hit on my creeps all the time I've seen it several times in person. Because on quiet days it is just me and her working together. (2 weeks ago I flipped out at her, I got sent home early... Luckily there was witnesses, who confirmed that that she had been lying and swore at me. A member of staff told the manager that "If BetaAsPhuck didn't flip out at her, I was going to do it.").

(I'm not proud of flipping out. I wish I kept my composure.)
