Yes, if you give a beginner "help", he is obviously going to experience a massive different in the amount of muscle he can put on compared to someone who doesn't. It is a completely different game when you are talking about veteran lifters who already have a lot of muscle mass.
You would not believe the amount of people at your gyms who use creatine and look like absolute chit. The ability to stay lean is LARGELY dependent on genetics. I've already stated that I have to remain 90% strict to remain lean. If I eat like crap, I look like crap. It varies widely by the person.
I am the first person to admit that creatine is an advantage. Why else would people use it? My issue is people acting like its some magic cool aid you drink and suddenly you're a Greek God. You people drastically over estimate the effects that it has, especially on veteran lifters. Newbies is a different story however.

How can you refute that other than your experience which could just be a statistical outlier.

Interesting study, though.
It should give you some hope, the idea a non-lifting ******* can make gains just by shoving a needle up their ass. Plus, the change of pace when compared to the other objects routinely in that zone, in your case, couldn't hurt.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

For me.....it doesn't matter. I retain fat easily whether natty or not. I have to be very strict to keep my physique in check. It will give you more leeway IF, you are genetically leaner in the first place.
If we are talking about a 3-5% different in BF%, then yes I agree with you for the most part. Your first post came off as people turning into a fat cow if they hopped off, which was ridiculous and not accurate.
Your second post quoted above was worded much better, and I'll agree that there will be a BF% different, however, in your scenario, where diet stays the same, and the only thing you take away is creatine, a person will NOT go from shredded to fat slob. They will gain some BF yes, but they will not turn into a dad bod or anything.
Enhancements are exactly what they are called. Enhancements. They enhance who you already are. If you are someone who stores fat, is soft and doesn't lose weight easily, you won't suddenly turn into a lean, fat burning machine who can eat everything. Yes you'll have a easier road, but you will still be able to gain fat and it will take more work to get shredded than the person who is prone to be leaner in the first place.
EDIT: Also, in b4 thread lock. We are prob getting close to pushing the rules.

God I wish we had camera phones back then.
Hurry durrr where's the proof why can't I find it?
People didn't want to carry a news camera around to record videos all the time.
Film actually had to be developed so again people didn't just carry cameras around constantly.
Also we didn't really think these were great feats because lots of guys did it.
In my 3 years in hs I saw at least 4 guys bench 405.
I saw at least 10 guys bench over 300
Another 4 guys bench over 275.
All in HS except 1 405 bencher was the online coach who played center at Elon.

I'm 5'8 and my natural weight hovers around 175lbs. I eat a higher calorie intake then friends that are 6'+ 230-250lbs. Assuming I want to bulk without getting excessively fat my diet has to be a lot more dialed in. Because while I need a fairly high intake, I just put on a ton of fat if I go full retard. Currently trying to hit about 200-210. Hopefully around will be at around 15-16% BF.
With that said I'm lucky I don't get fat AF and have to eat like 1500 calories like some other people seem to claim.

If these were all novice lifters, none of this is surprising. A veteran natty lifter isn't gaining 4lbs in 10 weeks, and a veteran lifter natty or not isn't gaining 7lbs by sitting around doing nothing for 10 weeks.
For instance, take me and you.
Put us both on a protocol for 12 weeks, same supplements, same diet (adjusted for macros obviously), same training, you would gain probably 2x the muscle I would.

Most people don’t make lifting a priority to find a coping mechanism to remain fat, it’s totally ass backwards. The only legitimate excuse is if lifting is somehow your career and the extra body weight is necessary for your competitiveness.

4 lbs of LBM with diet and training in 10 weeks doesnt sound too crazy to me, although that would be tough for me personally since im a twinky hard gainer on a lifelong bulk

I remember when my dad broke down and got a VCR.
I lost almost all of my mementos in Hurricane Fran.
I essentially lost everything I owned.
Almost every picture of the girls I banged were cut to ribbons by a girl I was dating and then my ex fng wife cut up a couple more.
We just didn't see these things as special. We were all trying to make it to college and we had lifting and running sessions 5 days a week year round.
When everyone was having fun in Summer we were at the school every night from 5 to 8.
We all had weight training for a class so we could lift in the morning and run/plyometrics and abilities everyday after school till 6.

Good points ITT.
Lack of commitment from my part. A few excuses: being very lean at 5'8 u feel very small lol. Also i just started a new job so i feel like i need the calories. But once im accustomed i feel like i can drop the cals. Another thing is of course strength gains.
My buddy has been prodding me to go on his diet of turkey skillet lol. Says 45 min of prep for 5 days of meals.
Im 175 right now and once i start my cut ill drop down to 160 and see if im satisfied there. Ive been in the high 40s when i was younger and while the face looks great i looked dyel in clothing lol, which is the same case for my friend who is 6'1 160 shredded.

get to 11% bf then you can do proper bulk/ cut cycles.
if you just keep bulking for years
you are just a fat fuk making no progress.. yet you think you are a bodybuilder lmfao
ive realized this myself... if you never cut to low bf, you don't even lift #truth

I have a very naturally lean physique, plus I’m not a big eater so I have abs all year round and I’m vascular. Even when I was at my largest (190lb at 6’2) I still had well defined abs. Although my abs aren’t as defined as when I took my profile pic 3 years ago. Maybe this summer I’ll aim to be really lean again.
