Wanna hear a funny wedding story? This goes back to the 90's. A couple from our "bad-ass Friends" clique was getting married. The bride-to-be had previous hook-ups with one of the guys in our close knit group...who also happened to be the groom's best man. So, the big day arrives. Everyone was glowing, looking all glamorous in their backless gowns and monkey suits...until they started doing lines of coke in the "bridal suite" at the reception hall. About half way into the ceremony, between all the partying and booze, the new bride and the best man (also the groom's best friend) were making out in the room...and some friends caught their cheating dumbasses.

These guys go and tell the groom their discovery, and a massive fight ensues. A physical fight between the groom and his best man spills out into the reception area and onto the dance floor...lol. Most of the guys are jumping in at this time, trying to break it up. I'm trying to remember the looks on the faces of the older adults witnessing this...lol. They must have been like WTF???!!! I wonder if they ever really knew how phucked up (on coke) their kids were...

Well, thankfully the fight was brief. No one got hurt. The bride and groom dusted themselves off like nothing happened (are you effing kidding me, right?)...and the show went on. I wonder how their honeymoon went....(LOL)? They stayed married for many years after and had kids, but I believe they eventually got divorced (I know, shocker...). Some of the antics of those people were crazy, laughable, outrageous...but believe it or not, most of them were good people at heart...Just very misguided and stupid AF back then!

This. Going to weddings is fine but being in them is chit. Especially if the bride is being a kent and wants the whole wedding party completely sober as has been my experiences.

You got cucked by the new guy, and your friend replaced you with him. Are you still in the bachelor party? The last thing I would want is to be part of the wedding party hundreds of miles away, having to pay for a tux rental and all that other bull**** .

if you are still in the bachelor party and your friend emphasized you coming I would still go. If you’re just demoted to a regular guest, save yourself the money and stay home. I would probably stay home to be honest, it’s disrespectful for your best friends.

Don’t be a Bich. It’s his wedding not yours, it’s not about you. Was it a dick move on his part sure. He’s about to make the biggest mistake of his life and needs as many friends as possible. Go to wedding. Tell him how it made you feel in a couple of years.
