But no reason lake house has to be in the UK. I understand Spain and Portugal are quite affordable, there just aren't many good paying jobs. OP has expressed that this isn't an issue.

She probably knows how dumb the vast majority of other drivers are and doesn't want you to get clipped by some old granny who's not paying attention or some young stacey who's busy being a sloot on social media while driving. Settle on a dirt bike and just go tear up some **** in the woods/dirt away from other drivers.

A lot of accidents are cause by drunk riding. Does your husband have a drinking problem? A lot of accidents are also riding too fast, is your husband a fast dangerous type who can control his impulses.

But really, read about motorcycle stats, then make a decision.

Same OP told my wife i want to get a Indian FTR 1200, she is saying no because she thinks I will die riding it. I dont blame her, I've also had many friends die, or get seriously fukt up on a bike.
