I mean I, and I'm sure most of you, didn't expect to go into New Orleans and win. I just didn't expect us to get outright destroyed like this. Defense is getting virtually no pressure, and the rare times we do it's because we brought the house and Brees finds a wide open receiver. Even only rushing 4 their receivers are wide open.
Bad game from top to bottom. We get the Jets next week. Jets are by no means a push over as they have beaten some pretty good teams, but Geno Smith is definitely not Drew Brees.

Why didn't we make a move on Josh Gordon. Our offense doesn't have the firepower to be down by 2 TDs late in the game.

Anyways, I feel like cornerback is leapfrogging all of our other needs for the upcoming offseason. There is no way we're beating Drew Brees with a secondary like this.

Carolina scouts better be baking on some DB's and a wide out…it really is the only thing holding the team back (maybe the O-Line)

Obviously still have faith in the team.. Drew Brees is 10-0 with some straight video game stats in prime time games @ New Orleans, and the Saints with Payton/Brees are undefeated dating back to 2011 @ New Orleans(2012 obviously excluded). Expecting to go in that place and win was a bit far fetched, just wish we'd have made it at least somewhat competitive.. Poor play in every single facet of the game. Cam, defensive line, offensive line, receivers, run game, and most importantly the secondary all shiit the bed. Such a disappointment.
As for our playoff situation.. not a good day on that front, either. Virtually everything that would have benefited us DIDN'T happen. Arizona, Philly, and SF all won their games. We're still the 5th seed with the tiebreaker over SF but Arizona is now only one game back. If Dallas wins tomorrow, they are also only one game back.
Remaining schedule(s):
Carolina - vs. Jets, vs. Saints, @ Falcons
Arizona - @ Titans, @ Seattle, vs. 49ers
SF - @ Buccaneers, vs. Falcons, @ Cardinals
Philly - @ Vikings, vs. Bears, @ Cowboys
Dallas - @ Bears, vs. Packers, @ Redskins, vs. Philly
Ugh, those look like pretty cupcake schedules for every team that can threaten us for our spot in the playoffs, so we really can't afford any slip-ups in the final weeks. Luckily the toughest of that group belongs to the Cardinals who are obviously the biggest concern because they hold the tiebreaker over us. Also stoked they have to play the Seahawks @ Seattle. With the Saints winning tonight Seattle will be gunning hard to get home field.

Cards should beat the titans, at Seattle is a death trap, home vs 9ers is tight but likely favors 9ers.
9ers - bucs and falcons are easy wins, tight but favored over cards
Philly - all matchs winnable………and not a good D is sight (bears to banged up)
Dallas - team is hot/cold could win or lose any game. I hope they lose just cause there fans are dicks.

Carolina needs to win 2 of the last 3 games and we're pretty much guaranteed in. Only way they don't get in is if Arizona wins out and SF wins 2 (even then I don't know how the tiebreakers would go). So beat the Jets this week…

Tough loss.
I am going to the game on Sunday. Hopefully I don't jinx us. Just need to start another win streak now.

I was listening to a Warren Moon interview today. He said he thinks the Panthers have the best shot of anyone to win in Seattle. I think a lot of things would have to align for them to pull it off.

Thinking ahead to next year and had an idea that I wanted an opinion on…
Darren McFadden will be a free agent. Due to his inability to stay on the field as a lead back I can't imagine he's going to command a huge contract from anybody. If the price was right how would you guys feel about signing someone like him? I know that signing a RB isn't a high priority but he is A. Very explosive and B. A good receiver out of the backfield. We need both of those things. With JStew always hurt and DWill aging and showing it a little then I think for the right price someone like that could be viable in our offense. Plus we still run wildcat plays and he can actually throw the ball. I think that in a timeshare like we run he may be able to play more games, then again, that may be wishful thinking.
I know it's not a priority and would probably never happen but what do you guys think about something like that?

Maybe Santonio Holmes will learn to shut his mouth after his 2 catch for 14 yard performance… Captain absolutely pooped on him on that pick six too.
Huge game next week that could determine division, time to step up!

looks like there is some new blood in here.
I've been pessimistic at times but dayum, based on the way NO has been on the road this year…i would be pretty disappointed if Carolina doesn't end up winning the division and snagging the 2 seed, would be unreal.

Any of you brahs order the Ice Up Son shirts?
Mine was due to arrive on Tuesday the 10th (last week) but has yet to come in. I figure this order was huge compared to what that site usually handles so there may be some delay. Any of you get yours? Was hoping to have it before I head to Charlotte for the game this upcoming weekend. Fuark.
