I am so scared for this weekend.

As a Saints fan, if we piss away this game and lose the #2 seed….. i dont even…

Like if we stumble into the playoffs as six seed, it will be a disgrace.

The article basically said that the Panthers win differential between home and away was non-existent, and the Panthers are basically the same team, home or away. not a jekyl and hyde team like NO this year (7-0 home, 3-4 road)

The difference between their point differential at home and away was the worst in the league. The difference in their win percentage between home and away was also the second worst in the league. That pretty clearly illustrates that they gain almost no advantage from playing at home, and gain less of an advantage than any other team in the NFL.

I think you're both saying the same thing in different ways.

The fact that we're the same team on the home and on the road is a good thing for us. It also indicates that we don't gain an advantage at home since we play the same there as we do away. Not necessarily a knock on the crowd or something like that, just a simple analysis of some facts. Could be a lot of reasons behind it.

Rewatched the Jets game via DVR earlier and browser some youtube clips and I hate to state the obvious but we absolutely cannot afford to lose Greg Hardy. Resign him no matter what it takes, franchise tag as a last resort even though pass rusher tags are bananas.

May not have the gaudy sack totals but that mans motor is unmatched on this team. Like the Steve Smith of our defense; not once have I seen him take a play off. Relentless and consistently breaks thru his blocking.

Personally think he is worthy of elite pass rusher money.

Btw, I wa watching NFL live this morning and one of the Bold predictions they made was Drew Brees would not throw a touchdown pass tomorrow. Very bold indeed.

i have a soft spot for LR. went to baseball camp there many times growing up and have family that have gone to school there and work there

A lot riding on this game and unfortunately Brees is not one to fold under pressure. We just cannot let him get into a rhythm.. Once he gets on a roll it's truly terrifying.

Smith is out for today. Vaccaro has a broken ankle from what I've heard.
