Same. He may only get a catch or two a game, but god damn he makes them in some crazy spots.

Russell Wilson, the first QB in NFL history to throw a game-winning interception.

"So you got fired again eh?" "Yeah, they always freak out when you leave the scene of an accident."

Spiders are like offensive linemen, the best ones do their job and you never notice them.

An obvious example of New Math.

I have to say I'm amazed at how Cam has gotten to the point where he plays poorly all game (in this case he was obviously injured) and then turns it around when it counts. Compared to the past, its insane how he's changed. Actually the whole team seems to have changed. It was the wrong choice to punt it, but it was almost like the offense just went full retard in the last minute (helped that the Saints are terrible).

I was surprised at the punt call, but the way the defense has been playing I expected things to turn out in our favor. Luke was a monster that game, dat dere franchise record for tackles in his second year of playing.

So much this. The Bobcats are one all-star quality free agent away from being a legit playoff team, and hoping the Hornets name + Jordan brand will draw a top quality player to the team. We went a half decade of only having college teams that were winning, but our professional teams are packed with young talent and the future is looking great.

The Bobcats are making the mistake of not tanking in the one year they absolutely MUST tank.

Good, tough win. We needed a tough game like that to playoff prep.

Cam is clutch. He had a terrible game, but sucked it up and made plays when it counted.

Also, Kuechly and Davis are the best LB tandem in the NFL by a longshot…

Yeah, I was going to bring that up but the frustration wasn't worth it. I don't get why Jordan is okay with not spending money and having the team suck on bad draft class years, but the year we have the best draft class since LeBron/Wade's class we decide to over pay a guy that will put us just good enough to sit in the middle of a bunch of teams trying to lose.

We do have Portland's top 12 protected pick, Piston's top 8 protected, but if we don't get a 1-10 pick ourselves it goes to the Bulls. So it's a major loss for us to half-way win this year.

I actually liked the Jefferson signing. They need to do three things though:

1) Tell the coach to stop playing defense after Christmas
2) Sit Jefferson with a nice "ankle injury" from Jan-March
3) Sit MKG with a "hamstring injury" from Jan-March

BRB lose 23 in a row
BRB get top 5 pick
BRB rocking Kemba-MKG-Jefferson-Elite draft

Truth be told you could probably keep Jefferson in there and just have him rack up stats.

Jordan has already said they're not tanking. i think they're done trying to build solely through the draft, since it hasn't worked out at all for them. i expect them to be more active in FA next year when they get Gordon's contract off the books and maybe Sessions

This year not tanking is the absolute worst strategy. The great thing about building through the draft is you get a couple years of cheap labor. Ask the Knicks and Nets how building outside the draft has gone. Even the Thunder, who built through the draft, screwed themselves outside of drafting (trading for Perkins, extending Perkins, not amnestying Perkins).

I like Jefferson as a player, although I would rather have a defensive minded big than an offensive with limited defensive potential. But I just feel like 13.5 mill for 3 years was a little high. But we can forget about tanking, Jordan made it very clear that he will not go that route this year, and actually insulted the teams that were tanking.

Looking forward to Gordon's contract clearing up, that's 13.2 mill that could be spent much more wisely. I don't think Sessions' 5 million contract is hurting us that much as I feel that he's helping improve Walker's game via practices and really not a bad 1 guard off the bench.

As is, the team is packed full of young talent with potential of having a couple all-stars in a year or two. Adding the salary room, Hornets legacy, and Jordan brand name opens us up to jump to straight contender. I also feel like that younger talent like Walker, Henderson, and MKG will sign smaller contracts once they hit their prime just to play under Jordan. Hopefully. Hopefully.

While I mostly agree with all of this…the Bobcats need a Jabari Parker, etc. That is what they are missing. Jefferson as a low post option, Kemba outside, keep developing MKG. Without that they are phucked.

well, you see, heres the thing. even the bobcats sucked it up to get into the lottery in a high pick, i don't trust the lottery to give us that high pick.

bobcats were literally the worst team without tanking in 2011 and got shafted out of the #1 overall. then last year they were the 2nd worst team and got the #4.

so why should we hope that a flawed and probably rigged system is going to give us a top 3 pick?

Well first of all the whole "worst team should get the #1" argument is flawed in a lottery. Statistically the worst team will not the get the #1 pick, they just have the highest chance.

But most importantly, in this draft you don't need a top 3 pick, even a top 8 pick may get you a franchise player.

And if they don't tank, what's their best option to get a franchise player?

After getting shafted those years, it's what I'm counting on for the Pistons to get a 9th or higher pick so we can take it.
