I disagree. Any incident like this where there is a fatality would make the news. This is hardly routine. Maybe an engine out but not the cabin puncture/depressurization where people nearly get sucked out. The crew also had that to deal with.

They really do great job to be honest. On ground they don't always look as trustworthy and I saw them going into tech often. Swiss airlines deemed them too loud and old, took them off the fleet and welcomed Bombardier C series. We all mourned a bit when the last Swiss RJ took off from our base. Hopefully they too get involved with firefighting

If your argument is true, lets extend it.

If she isn't a hero for doing her job, then military personnel aren't heroes, and don't deserve the praise and respect they get because they're doing their jobs. Do you agree? They're just doing their jobs. What if they die? LOL WHY ARE YOU SAD THEY'RE JUST DOING THEIR JOBS DID YOU EXPECT THEM TO RUN AWAY FROM THE SITUATION THAT THEY WERE ALREADY PUT IN BY THEMSELVES

And stop being such a white knight sjw, there is nothing anti woman about saying shes not a hero, ask her if she thinks shes a hero for this and promise you she won't say she is. What she did that day while incredible to us, was nothing compared to other feats she's accomplished like landing an f-18 at night on a carrier.
There will be critics and skeptics no matter the act, but in this situation it seems like you are defending this individual just because she is a women, if this was done by a man and someone said he wasn't a hero you wouldn't be saying a thing

Any pilot worth being an aircraft commander would have done the same. There is nothing remarkable about what she did other than she was there when it needed to be done. I have seen far worse with the exception of someone dieing and you never will know about it.

hero is someone who puts himself in danger to help others, so no, military personnel in 99% cases are not heroes....all US military is doing is invading other countries for political and economical gain
