This. It's not just the military either, the dollar is backed by mutual trust. Everybody's assets and debts are held in the dollar. People used to talk about China and other countries taking down the dollar, but the fact is if the dollar collapses the world is in a dark place. If crypto collapses, who fukkin cares lol.

It's crazy how i've been reading the same doubts about bitcoin for years. when it dropped from 1200 to 600 people were saying the same things about bitcoin and hows it over for bitcoin, no usecases, too volatile, value based on nothing. and yet here we are bitcoin at 30k+ and people saying the same things. if you bought at any point since it's creation you are in the green right now and yeah its gonna drop hard but it will still be up from where it was 3 years ago and people will still be saying the same things.

Exavtly. Most will repeat the same chit until it becomes the global reserve currency and even then they’ll probably hate it even more. I’m sure we’ll get waves of people Roping then self for missing this.

I sold the last of my btc on Christmas day. The price was just under $25000 when I sold. By today's price it looks like I left money on the table, but I've made money so I can't even be upset about it. I think the biggest problems for any crypto currency is going to be government regulations and tax liabilities in the future.
