This was the economic reset everyone was voting for. No one’s fault but whoever voted for Biden. Y’all better be prepared, because it’s just going to keep getting worse. This is not just a recession, we very well could be headed to a Great Depression. When Trump said that Biden is going to destroy the country, he was not just talking out of his ass. That’s literally what they are trying to do. “Build back better“ was rhetoric for “we are going to restructure the United States into a socialist and fascist country with emphasis on destroying whites…”. The big difference between now and 2008 is the supply of houses was much higher than demand in 2008, while now it's the other way around.

All this Data Science, AI, Robotics, and Crypto will never take off mainstream especielly in US where many computers still run off Microsoft Vista ffs. Long story short its all a scam and no one gives a phuck, I remember vividly when the Data Science team at my bank got fired, their "insights" provided no value.

2007? Nope. Similar low inventory and bidding wars was the norm.
The big difference was that there were plenty of people getting loans. The market of buyers is actually much smaller this time around.
I honestly don't think it's going to crash like people think, but it gets really tiring hearing "this time is different." People act like crashes must follow the exact same pattern as crashes of the past.
There are far fewer buyers in 2021 than there were in 2007. Everyone and their broke ass uncle was able to get a loan in 2007. It's not the same today.
There are so many things that could bring the market down:
Businesses calling people back into the office(already happening at my 20,000+ employee company)
John and Sally Boomer who bought a bigger home and decided to rent out their previous home are going to realize playing landlord isn't all it is cracked up to be.
Fed could tighten its belt
Stocks could tank, forcing assets to be sold to cover losses.
None of these things happened in 2008, but would definitely cause prices to drop considerably today.

Fast forward two years, and he didn't end enough regulation and cut back on enough spending/taxation for us to compete with China. Hell, he didn't even get around to ending Occupational Licensing till late 2020. Around 2018 the market started to dangerously waver as the Fed very slowly raised rates. We made it to 2.25% before they went back to cutting rates so we could go back to being drunk on cheap money. Meanwhile Trump praised stock valuations, unemployment, jobs, etc. as his miracle economy.
Despite the dovish Fed, around mid 2019 we were on the brink of recession. Yields had inverted, momentum had slowed, and the COVID-19 retardation was just the spark that ignited the powder keg.

Just need it to stay afloat for 3 more months so I can finally sell my rancher and live in hotels for the rest of my career, paid for of course (srs getting a traveling gig).
Worst case I guess I'll rent it, it's a highly desirable rental area, but I'd rather cut loose with if entirely.
