Of course the BMI needs adusted a bit since currently it classifies most muscular people as obese.
You don't understand why we use BMI; it's very rare that musculature puts a man out of his healthy BMI range & it's almost never done naturally

Your body does not care whether it's muscle or fat that's straining it, they both impair function with fat being worse overall

Weight is weight even though being fat is more unaesthetic

And if you are a mesomorph that has lifted for over 20 years consistently with quite a bit of mass from training, is it still unhealthy?
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

that's not true at all - the entire US Men's Olympic rowing team would be considered overweight by the BMI

people in the USA will drive 1 mile to buy a lime without even noticing how absurd that is.

Amsterdam/Netherlands uses bike paths and pedestrian paths as a priority over streets for cars. They are literally eliminating roads and replacing them with parks, paths, and pedestrian areas.

Now we have E-bikes available, so even a fat fuk useless american could easily get 40 miles without breaking a sweat, while still being forced to use SOME cardio capacity.

Look at this.... You could send ur fat kid to school on a bike, they could see their friends on a bike, you could ride to the store on a bike.... You could do work commutes on bike, etc etc etc etc.

Just tax the fukers through the nose until they decide to lose weight.

Doubling health insurance premiums would be a great start.

Right, but what percentage of the population is an Olympian, a professional athlete, or even an avid lifter?

BMI isn’t perfect, but it’s an adequate method of measuring overall health status.

Again, you are a retard.

People do not "eat sugar" rather they eat foods that taste good for sport or to have pleasure.

It's middle class soccer mom bourgeois thinking to blame "sugar" when it's actually pathological stress and boredom. Cowards like this always try to deny real problems, like we are working slaves with little or no pleasure in life.

I explained this probably over five times.

Food HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OBESITY just like tobacco has nothing to do with why people smoke.

This doesn’t work when the vast amount of American obese already receive free healthcare and hundreds of dollars a month in EBT.

you know damn well the processed foods are laden with refined sugars that make you crave more of them - but that isn't the problem? The eff it isn't. you can explain it away all you want, but the fact is, if you removed all food products with refined sugars, the obesity rates would drop. Not to zero, but it would go down significantly. It starts with convenience and turns into addiction but you want to make it some bolshevik nonsense.

Again, this is moronic.

Do you believe that people do not know that eating massive amounts of food leads to gaining fat?

Literally, every adult of average IQ knows how people get fat.

So, why do they overeat and eat when they aren't hungry?

You have to be an idiot to think people do not know this or that they are eating some food with a hidden 4,000 calories in it.

People can literally stop shooting heroin because they decided to, withdraw, and they are okay.

There is no food in the world that has an effect that makes people sick if they don't eat it. The same thing goes for smoking.

There is no addictive substance people stay addicted to.

Cold turkey
Is it safe?
The safety of quitting cold turkey depends on the substance you’re trying to quit. Getting off cigarettes or alcohol may be safe to do on your own.

Quitting highly addictive drugs or a severe alcohol dependence can cause serious side effects, and in some cases, death. It’s better to be under the care of a doctor or addiction treatment center.

I have known a good number of people who stopped using heroin without any support and were fine. You get sick and then your body restarts and makes its own opiates, then you are okay.

There's no such thing like that regarding food and tobacco isn't addictive like opiates by any stretch of the imagination.

People just LIKE food because it tastes good. There is nothing addictive about any food substance. For that reason, no food type should be taxed.

There's people who work hard and if they want to eat a bucket of ice cream, then that's their right. They are not the same as a person who doesn't burn calories and eats it. So, no normal person should have to pay tax on normal food.

Regarding tobacco, people get irritable when quitting, which is similar to caffeine.

That is barely in the range of additive.

Taxing products that make people fat if misused? No, not appropriate at all, because it affects everyone who uses the products.

We should take away benefits, both healthcare and financial, for people of a certain bodyfat % IMO

So the only way a person will get health insurance is if they'll at a proper weight or fitness level?

So I guess like how people have to lose weight first in order to have gastric bypass surgery.

At the bare minimum. I'm Ausbrah and everyone gets "free" healthcare here so the fatties (usually poor and don't pay taxes anyway) get any lifesaving treatment/surgery they need without paying a thing.

In USA health insurance for obese people should be astronomical, like unaffordable, to remedy the imbalance.

e.
same in the UK, the cheapest intervention for fatties is gastric bands...........sometimes they have to get even fatter to qualify to get the surgery!

everything about pedestrian infrastructure is better....

less noise, a thousand times better lifestyle for children, cheaper road upkeep, mental health benefits of being outdoors, physical health benefits of moving around... Cities that are absolute chitholes (los angeles/new york/chicago) would actually be tolerable and even nice to live in if they had dutch-style pedestrian infrastructure.

but it'll never happen, because "I NEED MUH CAR TO PICK UP BOBBY FROM SOCCER 1.4 MILES AWAY"
Would get murdered on the way to work though no thanks
Would kick em in the nuts

Even China has clearly surpassed most of the US in infrastructure and quality of life for the average citizen.

No low level crime or mass insanity like obesity or drug abuse

Acceptable GDP for many

Modern infrastructure at 1000000x the pace US develops it
