Hahaha read the transcript man he is ****ed i think. she was a bit out there but they were both drunk, both a bit immature.

I think he is guilty of going too far - he choked her and threatened her, no man should do that to a woman

Did he cause her death, well. I'd say partially.

But at the risk of having my anonymity ruined, as I've told this story to a few people, I have a similar story

met some chick at the bar on a night out with friends, she was all over me. nice looking girl. couldnt even tell she was drunk, which she must have been, a little bit at least. anyways, we chill for a bit, then everyones going to the next bar and i say why dont we go back to my place. on the way back we stop on a bench and hook up for a while. we continue on and get to my apt. we hooking up, and start doing the nasty. as soon as she gets nekkid she just lays down flat on her back and doesnt move. it was the worst sex ever and i was already a bit drunk and she was less hot naked. i couldnt keep my hard on and she says whats the matter cant get hard so i say, not with you just laying there. so i just lay down next to her and fall asleep i was tired. in actuality this was a Massive mistake as she could have stolen my stuff. What she actually did was, she got up, sometime when i was sleeping, Didnt put her clothes on but put on my roomates ****ing cooking apron thing that was hanging near the door, wearin Only that she left the building and took a cab home, left all her belongings in my room. she said the cabbie said hey you shoudnt be out like that and offered her his coat.

I am sorry, but you are making out like he can just let her walk out the door. You do not know the level of the assault nor the location, the balcony literally may be right behind her. Why give her more chance to cause possible harm? Why would he ever think she is going to climb down?

Just because she is saying "let me out the door" does not mean she won't assault him again when he lets her back in.

No. If you look at the layout of the flat as the miscer above me posted it's a quick way to get her separated physically from yourself to stop her attacking you.
Not fcked to stop someone leaving temporarily if you think they would do harm or damage to oneself or ones property. If someone was attacking me I would look for the quickest way to separate myself from them to prevent any further harm coming to me.
Completely rational actually to keep them locked in a place where they cannot do harm to you or your property until they have calmed down. I wouldn't give a fuk.
Even so I am willing to admit he might have locked her out there in spite. Can hardly blame the guy after she was assaulting/attempting to assault him. To be honest if someone came into my house and started chucking stuff around I'd probably be tempted to clock them straight in gabber.

Edit: Either way. Let's all rejoice that the dumb fuk murder charge the prosecution were going for is never going stick. We all knew this anyway.

You missed the part where he had to wrassle his phone away from her then she tried to hit him over the head with a metal telescope holder. Then he pushes her out the balcony door in front of him.

Listen to the tapes. The "transcript" is messy and lots of gaps.

I rember listing to the tapes then reading the media transcripts. They paint different stories.

It's an apartment with you know neighbours, why didn't she try... I don't know scream for help first... instead of free climbing whilst under the influence of alcohol.
