IMO the Panthers ****ed up by suspending Hardy. The prosecutor in the Ray McDonald case is about to announce that no charges will be filed. Had the 49ers suspended him, I strongly doubt that would be the case. In the Hardy case, the prosecutor is clearly ****ing around, delaying the case as much as possible in the hopes of forcing a plea deal as Florio and others have advocated.
Its a bad precedent since prosecutors will delay and delay in the hopes of a guy agreeing to a plea deal, whether they are guilty or innocent, simply so they can get back out on the football field. I think if Hardy was still playing, the trial would have gone on as expected but because he is suspended, the prosecutor has the leverage to play games now.
I'm at the point where I say **** the media, all the PC nonsense and what anyone else thinks. In the McDonald case, the evidence is now supporting that his fiancee was the one who attacked him and that he was simply trying to restrain her, she had also pulled out a gun during a previous argument months earlier as well.
I hope Hardy can get back out on the football field sooner or later, give these guys due process and the opportunity to defend themselves instead of getting into these "guilty until proven" innocent scenarios. This isn't ****ing Britain.

The details on the case SCREAM lying kunt. Have you read up on the whole thing? It's disgusting that a guys career could possibly be in jeopardy because ESPN wanted viewers.
Some team is going to be so fukking lucky next year. Since Carolina is clearly a bunch of bitch-made *******S they'll let him walk. Beadle will continue running her fat ugly kunt mouth and ESPN will obliterate whatever team signs him.. which means Hardy will have to settle for no $ and some team will get one of the premiere pass rushers in the NFL for peanuts.

The media is going to go potato, that's a given, not sure why the Panthers gave in. The 49ers took a ****load of criticism but McDonald is basically exonerated, especially as more info comes out on just how ****ing nuts his fiancee is(she pulled out a gun during an earlier dispute). So basically all of those who were coming down on them can suck it and I'm sure within that locker room, that the team stood by McDonald in spite of the media firestorm, is playing HUGE.
If the prosecutor is going to keep screwing with the trial and keep pushing it back, the Panthers should just go YOLO and let Hardy play. The media will jump all over them for a few weeks…and then eventually it will die down and not a single **** will be given.
The whole point that people are making that Hardy was "convicted" when in reality it was the decision of a small country bumpkin judge thanks to NC's semi-potato justice system where you are basically convicted before you get a chance at a jury trial is absurd.
I abhor domestic violence but this whole throwing due process out the window bothers me a lot too, especially since it is the equivalent of putting a finger on the scales of justice. The player is suspended until the trial is completed. The prosecutor knows that and a prosecutor will bleed that out, keep the player off the field as long as possible in the hopes that they do their jobs for them and cop to a plea in order so they can do their league mandated suspension and get back on to the field faster. It gives an unfair advantage to the prosecution, not to seek justice, but to delay things for as long as possible.

That whole conviction is BS though. Once I started reading up on the NC court system and the actual judge, it reminded me of the sorts of idiot judges we have here in Phoenix, many who don't even have a legal background. Its not really a conviction as much as its a one man grand jury of sorts. Seeing the percentage of these cases that wind up guilty compared to the percentage that result in a guilty verdict by jury makes me think that some of the NC judges are more like rubber stamps than anything else.
If the prosecutor decides to draw this out through the middle of next season and Hardy is eventually found innocent, that will be 2 years of his career gone as the result of mere allegations.

Was at the game last night. Half the stands were screaming for Cam's head. By halftime, a considerable number of people had left the game.

Our defense looked good last night for the most part. I like jones and Boston at safety. They add speed to our defense. And Norman is our best cb. He should have been on jimmy graham on that td pass to end the half.
Our offense doe… I hope they get their **** together. The rest of the season doesn't look bad at all.

There's a lot of "Panthers fans" who already hate him , but they have the football IQ of a potato.
He reallllly doesn't need to have the smart fans turn on him too.
A lot of this hasn't been his fault. Shula is a complete retard and our O-line is pathetic.
But the last two weeks , especially last night …wow he's sucked balls.

If the Benjamin dropped td and the Bersin dropped pass turned interception hadn't happened it wouldnt have looked so bad other than his crappy completion %. I think its phucking up his passing with this week oline because now hes thinking about running more often where earlier he was more hesitant.

The packers and saints game were on Cam, no doubt about it. The Seattle game the receivers were getting locked up, even when they caught the ball it was in traffic.
Why don't we give Stephen Hill a chance??? He's the fastest player on the roster. If Cam can produce with Ginn he sure as hell can produce with Hill. How long does the team have to suffer before they make some changes.

Cam is going through some of the same issues Kaepernick had last season when Boldin was essentially the only healthy competent receiver. The Panthers should look at what the Cardinals did as their model, added a stud receiver like Michael Floyd and then a turbo deep threat like John Brown. Cam needs reliable weapons, what they've given him isn't enough. Benjamin can be the stud receiver but they need more than just that for him. A guy like Ty Montgomery from Stanford would be a very nice addition indeed.

I'm still cashed out on this season but I'm watching Mike & Mike right now and the AP plea deal and how they are talking about him possibly coming back this year.
It just got me thinking about the Hardy situation. Is anybody at ESPN going to apologize or at least admit they were wrong for crucifying Richardson for not suspending Hardy in a timely fashion if it turns out he is innocent? Or do they just burn people at the stake and then say fuk it when they are wrong. During the whole debacle nobody bothered to mention how loosely the term "conviction" was interpreted and presented to the masses via ESPN. If he turns out innocent, which some of the details of the case tend to lead towards…will he even want to stay in Carolina after they showed no spine and crumbled instead of sticking up for him like the 49'ers did for McDonald?
Obviously Carolina's problems this year extend well beyond Hardy being out, but his absence as made a huge difference. I guess I just can't believe how ESPN can make snap judgments about people with impunity and there are no repercussions when they are wrong. World we live in I guess.

So they are just flushing millions down the toilet with no intentions of bringing him back. In that case they could have at least showed some testicular fortitude and got their moneys worth this year. What a shame.

So who's debating not watching tonight besides me?
I'll turn it on and see how things are going. Probably stick around until halftime unless it's a blowout.

Man with how bad Carolina has been basically all year it pretty much erases all of the hope last year gave us, we are right back to being absolute chit.
I'm anticipating lots of changes next year.

I think it is quite evident that Cam is capable or being a superbowl winning quarterback if the TEAM AROUND HIM IS FUNCTIONAL. We saw it last year. Cam will NEVER be on the Rodgers/brady etc level but there are plenty of above average quaterbacks that win superbowls…Manning, Wilson, Flacco? I have a hard time believing that if you put any other quarterback in the entire NFL on the team that the results wouldn't be the exact same as they have been this season.
Cam just seems shell-shocked…and if this Gettlemen bullchit is true then I hope he gets out before he ends up like David Carr.

I have a hard time believing that if you put any other quarterback in the entire NFL on the team that the results wouldn't be the exact same as they have been this season.
Cam just seems shell-shocked…and if this Gettlemen bullchit is true then I hope he gets out before he ends up like David Carr.

i don't get why people hate on Cam. aside from the college stuff, he is great player. they took away all his weapons and lost a bunch on the defense. the man can't do it all. also if he's playing hurt, sit him and let him heal. DA is more than capable of backup duties.
