I think he'll work to improve the OL, but I think he'll be more interested in signing a few good/decent guys than signing one big name guy. That kind of midclass, not UFA and nobodies like DeCoud.

Greg Olsen signed a 3 year $22.5 mill extension. Sounds good to me. He's worth $7.5 mill/year

Good news about Ginn, Bersin doesn't return kicks/punts now, and he made some awesome catches for us. He gives Cam a target he has some chemistry with.

I'm probably the only one in the Philly Brown > Ginn club, but yeah.

Well Brown can't return punts, but hell get Fozzy or someone else to do it.

There's not many people we can afford still. We're better off getting the cheaper guys, adding depth, and not making any more terrible signings. Blowing cap room for that one guy is why the Saints are having to blow everything up.

all he said was we may move up in class from the dollar store.

they signed Oher and Ginn and re-signed Ed Dickson. thats about the extent of what our FA is going to be.

I'd rather save money for a true impact player. Yeah there are a couple OL I'd have been thrilled to sign, but we're competing against teams with (in comparison to our situation) damn near unlimited cap room. Everyone fapped over Byrd to the Saints last year. How did that turn out? Carolina is on a very fine line in terms of cap room. We are almost out of the hell Hurney put us in, and going too big could erase ALL of the positive momentum Gettleman has created with this roster.

You also have to factor in the division we play in. Carolina won the NFC-S last year despite so much going wrong. Questionable coaching at times, injuries out the ass, guys not playing up to par, etc. Still won because the NFC-S is a goddamn pile of trash. Saints have gotten considerably worse. Falcons I guess you could argue will always be a threat with Matt Ryan (and they got rid of that potato HC) but they still have a long ways to go. Bucs are the Bucs. We could go into next year with virtually the exact same roster and still be heavy favorites to take the division.

Sure we didn't sign any big names, but next year, we can retain Cammy Cam and GOAT Kuechly, and that's what truly matters.

The only one I'd even really care about is Torrey Smith and I doubt we'd want to spend $22 mill guaranteed for him. Johnson wasn't coming here, period.
