Sure they do. Cuba is as aware of hurricanes as we are. They just have a lower/larger poverty section which is true for all the Caribbean.

Just went through hurrican harvey, which was more of a tropical storm for my area. It fukin hovered and rained hard here for like a week, insane flooding. stay safe FL brahs, youre in my thoughts.

I'm a bit surprised how tame this hurricane has been. Definitely overhyped but better safe than sorry. I know a few people already died (most notably that police officer that got killed with a head-on clash when leaving a shelter) but damage isn't as severe as buildings getting completely torn apart
