no smoke, doesnt burn any oil. still runs like new. sludge in the valve area is common for a motor with 400k on it. its from the steam buildup

Bedding brakes and pad slapping aren’t the same things. Bedding is a normal thing to do with a fresh set, pad slapping is what brokies do when they can’t afford new rotors

They probably put some really shitty parts on for $400. I think I paid $400 last time just for the pads and rotors, and then my buddy installed them for another $150 or something.
