It's 100° here and the heat index is at 109°.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Heat index is 110 or some shit/

Air con set to 69. Because I'm not a French phaggot.

Pretty comfy tbh. Might crack a window though, warm shit up a touch.

We had a heatwave in northern ireland it was around 90 for a week I nearly melted like the witch in the wizard of oz

fuck that, I can deal with extreme cold but not heat. Lost 10lbs in sweat and woke up stuck to the bed.

I wish our high the past few days was 87. Ours were around 101 and felt like 112.

Do you have humidity too? It's way too hot here in ATL. It's like 85 degrees at night and humidity as thick as it gets.

Thanks God there's lakes, rivers, and pools here. I don't know how the Native Americans dealt with this shit and managed to sleep at night with no air conditioning and all they did to shower off was rub their arm pits in a creek.

This x 1045.453

I don't care when it is like -3 to 4C for days on end...or grey, "miserable" and rainy for days on end. But I have a real tough time when it is 30C+ for a solid week.

Its no fun when you are sitting there watching a movie at 10pm, still sweating your ass off as your house is like an oven.

This absolutely sucks. When there's a breeze it definitely is more tolerable, but oftentimes there has been no wind or clouds. I'm looking forward to after the weekend when its back in the high 70s.

I really don't mind temps in the 90s, but my issue is when it never truly cools down at night. When you get nighttime lows of 78 or 80, there's no escape. Your body is uncomfortable all of the time.

We can get high humidity here but thankfully with this heat wave it's not really humid out. We went to Kings Dominion in VA last weekend and the humidity was outrageous. It was hard to breathe.

It feels like 108 out right now. I went outside to water the flowers out front and it feels like a sauna.

I think we adapt to what we are used to. Growing up my mom hardly ever put AC on and it felt fine. Now, I'd die without AC. lol

My parents grew up with zero AC. None in the home and none in the cars. Don’t know how they were just used to it.

Lol in college my high school friend that I roomed with one day said “God damnit I’m so fucking sick of working to pay for things that are a life necessity.” I asked what and he said “#1 fucking AIRCONDITIONING!” I laughed and said that’s not a necessity bc all of our parents never had it. “Bullshit. You can’t live in the south and not have airconditioning.”

My mom to this day still barely turns it on. I don't know how she sleeps in that heat. She knows to turn it on at the beach house when I'm on the way there. lol. It's a 3 story house and it's split units. One controls the first and 2nd floor and one does the top floor. Her bedroom is top floor so she leaves that off when and just turns on the main one for me.

So you live in Virginia and your mom doesn’t turn the AC on? She must be a tough woman. If the AC went off permanently I’d probably go sleep on a float in the lake.
