This heat wave is gay and overblown
Never reached the predicted highs and I actually spent a lot of day outside and didn't bother me one bit. Nice try weather f*gs.

It's 100° here and the heat index is at 109°.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Air con set to 69. Because I'm not a French phaggot.
Pretty comfy tbh. Might crack a window though, warm shit up a touch.

They are calling it a heat wave in Chicago, the highs are like 87 degrees. That's called summer

Thanks God there's lakes, rivers, and pools here. I don't know how the Native Americans dealt with this shit and managed to sleep at night with no air conditioning and all they did to shower off was rub their arm pits in a creek.

I don't care when it is like -3 to 4C for days on end...or grey, "miserable" and rainy for days on end. But I have a real tough time when it is 30C+ for a solid week.
Its no fun when you are sitting there watching a movie at 10pm, still sweating your ass off as your house is like an oven.

This absolutely sucks. When there's a breeze it definitely is more tolerable, but oftentimes there has been no wind or clouds. I'm looking forward to after the weekend when its back in the high 70s.
I really don't mind temps in the 90s, but my issue is when it never truly cools down at night. When you get nighttime lows of 78 or 80, there's no escape. Your body is uncomfortable all of the time.

It feels like 108 out right now. I went outside to water the flowers out front and it feels like a sauna.
I think we adapt to what we are used to. Growing up my mom hardly ever put AC on and it felt fine. Now, I'd die without AC. lol

Lol in college my high school friend that I roomed with one day said “God damnit I’m so fucking sick of working to pay for things that are a life necessity.” I asked what and he said “#1 fucking AIRCONDITIONING!” I laughed and said that’s not a necessity bc all of our parents never had it. “Bullshit. You can’t live in the south and not have airconditioning.”
