I have one best friend I've known since the 4th grade (lives 12 hours away though) and if I didn't have him to hit up sometimes I'd be totally alone. Probably my own fault for sucking at making deep connections with people, but still it's rough.

IME many women want men to be 'their rock', which means they don't want you to have comparable insecurities or stress like they do. IME many women are completely oblivious to the fact that men have insecurities, they seem to think that only women sometimes feel deeply unattractive, crave affection, have core confidence issues, etc.

The emotional support one is pretty obviously especially on the Misc.

Look at female misc threads were women post progress/body photos or lifts and it's nothing but support
When guys do that on the misc, there is some support, along with a bunch of self-loathing trolls who do nothing but try to tear down the OP

I thrive on deep connections. Know how it is.

I got a lot of acquaintances and people that look up to me, but sometimes I do feel alone.

People think I'm intimidating and have anything figured out so that's probably a good bit of the reason.

The lying about opening up, hate that. Women say to show emotions but when we do it turns their vagina into a desert. They also show massive disgust when you get sick. Countless stories of dudes nursing their women back to health and the women just seeing the men as a bother when they get sick.

Saw one thread where the dude key logged his sloots phone, dude got sick and she was blaming him for why they couldn't always go out together.

I have learned to just brush off these things they say they want but don't really want. Stoicism is the best way to cope and be in tune with yourself, despite people saying it's about being "guarded" or "closed off". If you're religious be into your religion. Women are not a remedy for anything but they are fun to fuk for a while

I understand where the writer is coming from, but I can't say I could relate to many of them. Being able to put all emotion aside and think in a rational way is an incredibly valuable trait to have.

However, I do believe that every man needs at least one close friend he can share everything on his mind with. I see a lot of guys that have a decent amount of friends but not one good friend they can actually just sit down and chill with.
