-Split with ex wife 3 and a bit years ago
-were together for 9 years in total dating+married
-she initiated the divorce but it wasn't nasty, my mindset was always if someone doesn't love you it's better to separate than stay in an unhappy marriage.
-didn't stay in contact but still were friends on ******** so I could see what she had been up to throughout the years

Fast forward to today I receive an email when I get to work from her. I hadn't had any direct contact for probably 3 full years as after our divorce she was in a new relationship quite quickly.

In her email she asked how I was, what was new in my life and she couldn't believe it had been so long since she had spoken to me. She said she had taken her kids away for the weekend to a place her and I used to go to and it reminded her of me which led to the email.

She finished the email saying she would love to catch up and that she would love me to meet her kids as the thinks I would find them fun?

Not quite sure how to play this one, I am unaware of her current relationship status but from what I could see on ******** the guy she was with after me seems to be out the picture.

Now I know what you will say but there is so much history between us (9 years) and maybe she is trying to relight an old candle? Should I entertain the idea or politely turn her down? To be honest part of me has wanted to catch up with her for a long time
