I believe the holocaust happened but I don't think you should be allowed to block the opinions of those people. That's what free speech is all about, giving everyone a voice.

If you set a precedent on these matters like this then suddenly another thing and another thing will slip below the bar of what is 'acceptable' until all we are permitted is to praise the government and discuss how to work efficiently for as little food as possible. Hyperbole maybe but what exactly do you think the end goal of this is? They didn't set up the NSA to stop terrorists and they aren't bringing this law in to give fairness to impoverished groups. Hate speech isn't real. Unless it's considered equal in its applications to all races/religions/beliefs, then "hate speech" is nothing more than a filter used to keep people in line and control which opinions are acceptable.

It is the easiest, fastest way to exchange ideas and make money now, new businesses are popping up every day, our filesizes are getting bigger as it grows faster (chit, our internet speed is already behind many countries). The corporations lobbying to do this know if they can slow chit down, competition is non-existant.

Then telling you what you can do with technology you've already bought and owned. They're selling us out for money.

Unless those social justice warriors who make threats and want to kill everyone who disagrees with them are merely being "aggressively tolerant."     In my country, we used to have people in public working as secret service to spy on the general population. They were everywhere and no one could tell they were from the government, the people stood quiet and had a very tight social circle for safety reason to prevent infiltration because walls had ears like Stacie era East Germany.

    I would not be surprise if this turns out to be like this in the developed West.
