"As of yet no woman has objected to this statement."

I can tell you that almost ALL women will object to that statement, but the majority would be lying.

Being a woman IS competitive. It's hard to explain, but I actually do agree with the statement in some sense (some of it is a little hardcore, but it has it's merits). I've lost many a female friend to stupid chit like the OP explains. There's a reason I don't have many friends. Women I attract as friends can rarely be trusted and being friends with men is just complicated, sometimes.

I do feel like being a man in this day and age is pretty competitive, too... But somehow you guys are able to keep some sort of code for the most part.

What most of you who disagree with the OP don't understand is that women behave this way on VARYING levels (many men as well but not as hardcore)

Take your classic church girl.

Instead of having the hottest guy and having the most fun, its about having the wealthiest hubbie, looking and being the most holiest c*nt, having the best kids, and the best things for their kids. Sunday is the biggest showoff to her other church friends. The extent to which women display this behavior depends on their upringing and their 5 closest friends.

As guys theres no point in hating u just need to make sure you are aware of it and stay on your toes.

Status acquisition/anxiety (what you are describing) is universal. I know you said that men do it too, but you downplayed to what extent.

My life experience has taught me that men trying to 'one up' each other is just as bad as women, but they do it in different ways.

How many dudes do you know who try to boost their social status by bragging about; how attractive a woman they've phucked is, how many women they've phucked, how tough they are, the car they drive, the 'adventures' they've been on, etc?

Guys also try to diminish other guys social status by mentioning the things I've just mentioned, and how another guy doesn't measure up to them.(Go on any male dominated forum and you'll see guys talking about how other men have no value, because they having phucked a lot of women, don't make a lot of money, etc.)

If you've ever worked in an all male environment you should know exactly what I'm talking about.

Those 4 women wish they could have her man and if the opportunity arose they would jump to be with him and take him away from her even though they claim to be best friends.

Now take a group of 5 men who are friends and the exact same scenario as the one of the group of females except with girlfriends/wives. The other men don't wish they had his specific girlfriend/wife but rather a girl like her. Instead they congratulate him and ask him for tips in finding a girlfriend/wife like the one he has.

In short women don't have honour even when it involves supposed lifelong friends.

If we are painting with broad brushstrokes here, men and women do not share the same character traits from birth. Loyalty is not a character trait women possess. The faster guys learn and accept this the easier life gets. Men have been going to war since the start of time, sacrificing for each other, bonding etc... Women will trample each other over the smallest "upgrade".

Women are attracted to status, money, how much a man smiles and laughs, how many friends and resources a man has, how full a man's life is--how many "cool," "exciting" and prestigious things he is doing or connected to.

They are interested in how other people view him--how many people want to be around him, how other people interact with him and whether their interactions convey that he is special and amazing. They want him to be extremely outgoing and aggressive, they want him to demonstrate his status over other people by dominating them in various non-violent ways.

A woman's attraction to a man is a function of her jealousy at the thought of another woman having that man. She doesn't care who he actually is or EXACTLY what he looks like physically, she only cares about the VALUE of the life he has constructed around himself.

A woman basically is a greedy materialistic prostitute. Although that sounds vulgar, it's true. She trades her physical self to buy into the success a man has created for himself.
take this cope to r/redpill.

You'd have to be ugly to believe the bolded. They're attracted to status and money IF YOU'RE IN THE TOP 1% LIKE MOVIE STARS. OTHERWISE IT'S LOOKS. I can't believe the cope that goes on in this forum by ugly mother****ers who actually believe what they're saying. It's getting old

I agree, but I downplayed it for a readon. Most of the things you said are true that men do, but its usually once a female is introduced into the environment. A mans mindset is to surround himself with likeminded people that can help improve him. A woman still focuses on keeping the people closest to her "below" her in some fashion so that she can maintain her image of being the best. Yes I have been around guys you described but also really close guys who all have gfs who couldnt care less about trying to impress each other. Women can never get to that level of intimacy with another women because its competition 100% of the time. Most men will forget about that unless its the topic at hand or a hot chick joins the convo.

this is so true it's scary.

I've seen it with friends and their wives/GFs and I've seen it with women in my own life. you can almost see the gears of anger turn when they see a man relax and be happy. it's like nails on a chalk board to them. it rips them apart at their very core in the most violent and primal way. they hate it more than cramps, traffic or actually having to do real work themselves.

Funny you mention this. My mother is a tough bish in her career. Fought hard to get where she's at and now a Healthcare Director at a major hospital system. She is also a double minority - Asian and Woman living in the US South.

Says her fellow female peers are intimidated by her and ultimately try to push her down. Far worst than any man. All the drama is sickening. And would much rather hire men than women in her dept but not enough men apply (#equality) in her nursing field.

I've not been majorly betrayed, no. I've had best friends betray me in small ways, and it makes me think they could be capable of bigger things. I'm just not willing to put myself in the position to find out.

If you pay close attention to how people are, you realize you can't trust most of them. If someone is talking about someone else behind their back, what's stopping them from talking about you to that same person (or anyone) later on? It kind of starts to feel like, "What's the point?" Why invest my time and energy into someone that isn't going to have my back in the end?

Funny because men think the same. Deep to our biological level, we just don't give a **** about women, they are used for procreation and to enjoy ****ing. It's no wonder we are programmed to have sex with as many of them as possible, see the Coolidge Effect. While women tries to maximize any alpha male for protection and resources. All this romanticism created by the Brits and French and now modern day Disney have been fooling people from a young age. It's sad.

I love the denial of these special snowflakes in this thread. Women at my work do the same. You aren't going to beat nature and biology.
