I don't know if his views changed over the past 30 years that he wasn't interviewed or not. But just like I think it was wrong to give people like Senator Robert Byrd a pass on having been a former klan member when he was being eulogized, I think it's wrong to give Ali a pass here.
Yep! He definitely stated he thought whites were on a less righteous path. Given the time and context he was correct. Again, different context in a different period.

He spoke pretty funny about how everything 'black' was bad (blackmail, black ball, black cats = bad luck, etc) in society and everything white was good. He joked "Why don't they call it whitemail, they lie too!"

He changed as a person and was a humanitarian. You can bitch and troll all you want on here but it doesn't diminish anything from his legacy.

Same chit happened with Nelson Mandela. Guy was a legit terrorist, responsible for hundreds of murders, & the western governments/media treated him like he was some kind of god tier saint who was wrongfully imprisoned.

Most the idiots in society eat up any the chit the media feed them, most people have no idea Mandela was a terrorist, & Ali was a black supremacist.

1) I know how bad a lot of black fathers are in the black community. It's probably the single most threatening situation occurring right now. We need stable households.
2) MLK's and the Australian racist remarks didn't prove he wasn't a good father. We know he did things he wasn't supposed to do( so did MLK btw) but that doesn't make either of them bad fathers.
3) I understand you had no negative connotation, but you're inferring that you agree with Ed Norton's generalizing statement that most or all black athletes have multiple children with multiple women , are terrible fathers ,and are burdens. He left the Nation of Islam after finding out they were a Black Supremacist group and not religious group. Malcolm X is often defined as a Black Supremacist belonging to Nation of Islam but he was the first to call them out and leave them after finding out that they are the Black side of White Nationalism after he performed the Hajj and converted to Sunni Islam. After he returned from Saudi Arabia, he denounced racism, Nation of Islam, and ripped into Elijah Muhammad for cheating on his wife with his secretaries. They eventually murdered him for doing this. Ali dodged the draft because he refused to fight for a government that was stomping on him and his community yet sending them to fight for their interests against a people that never hurt him (the Vietnamese). Let's not forget that the rich were too busy sending their kids to school while the poor had to send theirs to a war zone. Ali just said what the youth was thinking but too afraid to say at the time.
