You don't put "No Swimming" signs, then make it inviting to enjoy the beach and water when there are alligators waiting to eat you. I know, hard concept for you to grasp, just mull over it for a moment.

It would make more sense to post signs that there are alligators present to eat you, and actually bar people from entering water and beach. You know, make it UNINVITING to play on the beach and water.

If you can't get that, then I feel sorry for your parents. You must be such a disappointment.

Situation: there are "No Swimming" signs in an area where alligators are abundant. You should be able to deduce that because there are signs warning you not to swim, and alligators are in the area, that you shouldnt swim in these waters because there may be alligators. That's how a high IQ operates, by being able to connect the dots where a retarded mind wouldnt be able to.

Also related: The guy that slipped and fell into an acidic spring because he decided to disregard all the signs and walk in dangerous areas anyways.

This really got to me when I read it earlier. Can't even imagine the thought of something like that happening to my child. Some of the replies on here are shocking!! A child had just died and lost its only chance to have a life and people make jokes trying to be comedians wtf!!

If you aren't from the southeast, are you aware that there are alligators in most lakes and ponds in Florida?

If you are on a Disney property, would you think that they would have a lake with alligators in it and not make it difficult to reach?

The Hyatt Regency not far from this property had up signs that said "No Swimming" and below those signs ones indicating the presence of alligators.

The parents paid the ultimate price for their ignorance.

Disney could have helped make this more avoidable by educating them. At least with signs, if not a fence.

Man this is sad, obviously its common sense that there could be a presence of alligators but at the same time, this couple was from Nebraska and clearly didn't fully appreciate the worst case scenario. I might be in the minority but I don't feel like the parents should be able to sue. It is a terrible tragedy but Disney didn't sick the alligator on the kid.

I tend to be borderline paranoid. I have PTSD. One of the features if this is something called hyper vigilance. I see danger.

Not everyone is like that. These parents clearly were not. Had Disney put up signs indicating the presence of alligators, they likely would have been more cautious.

That coffee was EXTREMELY hot, it gave her 3rd degree burns that melted her skin and fused her genitals and all she sued was for medical bills. That McDonalds also got a lot of complaints for the unreasonably hot coffee and it turned out they did it to cut costs of putting out fresh coffee

You should Google the pictures of her injuries, her coffee burns looked like an acid attack
