Which is why Mcdonalds was only found 20% liable, but she still had the reasonable expectation for the coffee not to be so hot it melted her vagina and fused it together.

The coffee was ridiculously over boiled to make the restaurant smell better and had several complaints against it already for the boiling hot coffee. You uneducated quick to jump to opinion type are some of the most insufferable and nauseating human beings to be around

You know, looking at pictures... some focus on the sign and make it look very obvious, but in others it seems like you could go 25'-50' without seeing a sign.

It is entirely possible that in the place the family was standing, it wasn't at all apparent that swimming was discouraged.

Yikes, okay now Im seeing this coffee case from another perspective. Any immediate pics of the location in question from any Orlando miscers?

The thing is that there are freshwater swimming holes all over Florida where alligators exist and people don't die. Yes, you have to use common sense, but this is almost like lightning striking. They usually have little interest in people.

What sounds problematic to me is the report of other people being attacked by an alligator weeks earlier. That's not typical and if Disney knew of an aggression problem with an animal in the lagoon, they're definitely liable and it's legit.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

We have a lot of them here in the Northern Territory. A few boar and geese hunters here in Darwin have been attacked. No human fatalities. Some hunter dogs though bitten the dust because of drop bears though. It is hard for hunters here since they are out in the thick hot bush hunting for boars and not keeping an eye out on the tree tops.

I am an ignoramus... if I went to disney world would be completely clueless about alligators being in the water. Could certainly envisage me letting a kid mess around in the sand, beach looks chilled out with all the chairs and lights etc. Sad situation.

Seminole apocalypse prophecy.

The singer from the north will perish and the stranger from the east will send many dancers with her.

A child from the west will give himself to the alligator spirit.

A man from the south will brawl for the wind.

Then the woman consumes the world in fire.

Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Wtf strong reactionaries in his thread. At first. I was livid too but turns out they aren't in the zoo ir anything like that. Probably at a lake close to the hotel, and being from Nebraska they aren't aware that alligators are everywhere in FL. Still they should have let the kid roam around so freely but this is more sad than rage inducing. Completely different thing than the gorilla chit. Put down your pitchforks *******s.

The resort nearby is Disney. That entire area is Disney. It's just a bunch of different Disney hotels.

They are in Florida. Of course there is a chance there are alligators in a open body of water. Mental to let your kid near the water at all, let alone in the night.

Do they need signs near every bush mentioning there may be venemous snakes or signs by the trash cans informing there may be bears?

Parents at fault and I can't imagine how a parent could ever live with themselves after something like this. This wasn't taking your eyes off your kids for 30 seconds and something happen, it was knowingly putting them in a highly dangerous situation.
