Anyone who feels like eth has 'finally broken the 16$ barrier' is a bit malinformed though, no? I mean it's still sitting at poverty 023btc.

yes its purely because of the btc price, but at least it seems to be hanging around the same level for now, so any eth holdings become btc profits if you decide to cash out

Does anyone else with experience trading alt coins know how to trade on bustabit? I want to get started.

put 1k into bitcoin, will transfer to ETH in a bit once the btc is in my wallet.

Honestly dont think this is a safe bet, at all. More of a gamble for me as no one knows what will happen. 95% of the trading is China so I'm assuming they're up to no good, inflating, etc, but I figured it was either this or spend it at the casino, lets see what happens.

bitcoin going up again. cant wait to see what happens at the halvening, either dumped for ETH or will go even higher. both good for us, as long as ETH holds or moves up alongside it.

the price increase is because of btc going up. eth in relation to btc has stayed around the same with a bit of upswing (which is good, even if you own eth you are still profiting from btc).

the fact eth is holding or rising alongside btc is really f**king good

means you win either way on the halvening. btc will keep going up (good) or everyone jumps to eth (better).

I'm Canadian.

Give me a step by step detailed guide to how I invest in this.

I legit remember when someone had an aware thread on bitcoin, and I tried to buy some, but had to jump through so many hoops and what not I couldn't make my way through it. Feels ****ty looking back at how much even just $50-100 back then would have been worth now today. So help please.

There was a huge drop in the price today due to the DAO exploit:

http://hackingdistributed.com/2016/0...-the-dao-hack/

https://blog.ethcore.io/attack-on-th...your-response/

This started a panic sell unfortunately. The good news is none of the ETH was stolen and the developers are leaving it up to the community on whether to change the code to prevent the thief from cashing out.

https://blog.ethereum.org/2016/06/17...vulnerability/

I don't think the price of ETH will go any cheaper then what it is now (~$14.50), it could be a good time to buy if you missed out.

This is still a long hold and I don't recommend brahs try day trading it

6 days?

you can buy on 300 dollars worth on circle with a card instantly. I requested a limit increase after about a week, and it got raised to 3000 per week.

how much are you looking to buy?

try circle. Its super easy and you can buy up to 300 per week USD starting, with a card. You get the btc instantly.

the whole process takes literally 3 minutes, you don't have to send them anything or verify, besides a 4 digit text code.

I'm with them as well, you just have to get your identity verified and you can buy instantly with a debit card.

I forgot where you go to buy ETH, I'll try to find it it someone doesn't post before me.

You can use this site:https://shapeshift.io/#/coins

You need to open a ETH wallet, you can try here:https://ethereumwallet.com/

To get verified on coinbase, go to buy and select debit card it should make you verify using a webcam and I'd/license it would be better to do it on mobile because you can just upload a pic for your drivers license.

never had to verify identity on coinbase or circle. Verified my email when they emailed me a link to click on, and then my phone number through a code they texted me. that was it. Never had to show any ID.
