Obama and the democrats have been calling the police racist murderers for a while now it was just a matter of time before this happened. Hopefully this case won't disappear like the two NYC cops who were executed did.
It's pretty clear that 99% of cops are voting Trump in this election, the amount of hatred the other side has towards cops is unbelievable. Looking at social media and how people think this guy is a hero is unfathomable to me.

In these controversial cases, there is an investigation. If it turns out the shooting was justified (e.g. Michael Brown and soon to be Alton Sterling), then the officers walk away with their freedom and a ruined reputation. If the shooting was not justified, they face consequences.

all the officers on the scene filed identical reports supporting Ofc Michael Slager.http://thinkprogress.org/justice/201...ally-happened/
It was not until a bystanders video surfaced the investigation changed. Without that video...he would still be an officer.

the cops had every right to subdue him forcefully and the odds are that the cops were in the right. In the second video you see him reaching for his pockets and rolling and flailing even after the police tell him to stop moving.

By the way, the bystander's video certainly made it easier to see what happened, but forensic evidence would have shown that Scott was shot in the back from a distance (unlike Brown).

What kind of an animal opens fire in a crowded area with women and children while shooting at cops? Specifically, to "just kill white people"? All it does is continue the same ole narrative.
Diversitydoesn't seem to be working like the left claims it does. What's their favorite saying again? Oh yeah, "Diversity is our strength.".

Black people are being used by BLM and police brutality crap. Hispanics are being used by "illegal immigrant" nonsense. Stop being ****ing sheep and turn off the damn tv, get off social media, and go outside. Minorities are just unwilling pawns used to mask the true purpose of all of this: to divide and conquer. The US is done if people don't stop listening to political rhetoric manufactured by the elite. You think "the elite" is a bunch of white dudes on Wall Street? That's just another lie...

If that's true (and I didn't see the video btw), the guy got what was coming to him.
Cops told him to stop moving and he still kept on
Why is it such a hard concept for some people to grasp that when a cop tells you to do something, you ****ing DO IT and don't keep on. Don't do **** unless they tell you to
I dunno... With thug culture being so glorified, maybe it's just a harder concept to grasp within the black community cuz, ya know... **** authority, right? I'm hard. Ain't nobody gonna tell me ****. **** that pig cuz I ain't doing nothing wrong!
Maybe the alternative would be to act like a decent human being and not a total piece of trash and then you won't get treated like one
There's a fine line between a black person and a n*gger and it don't have to do with whether or not you're dressed up or have on ball shorts, nike's, and a snapback.
So maybe if you're the one getting "mistreated" by cops all the time, it's probably time you take a look in the ****ing mirror

The second video was not justified but also not on purpose and it was also a snuff, horrific thing.
The problem is people who have victim mentality have way too much emotion and relate the black condition to that horrific snuff scene. The way they relate to that victim is illogical and enter the real depth of their soul for no reason.
It triggers their victim mentality even if it was or wasn't justified.
Essentially its a childlike emotional response, their reaction to the snuff footage.
They aren't really related but them empathize with it because they are pure bred racist through and through to the core.
They don't have mature fully developed mind so they cant handle it in a mature way.
As sad as it is we have to stop supporting these people and their illogical emotionally immature reactions because it incites more harm and a tribal mentality.
Im sorry but we cannot give legitimacy to these types of emotionally immature attitudes and prejudices against police or the white race.

It really is a sad state of affairs in the U.S.
Through lack of leadership and guidance through our elected officials, we have dived deeper into racial divisions, in an era where we have more access to education and the ability to understand differing cultures/mindsets than ever before.
1. Per the FBI a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by an African American than a police officer is likely to kill an unarmed African American
2. Homicides have spiked 17% in the 50 largest U.S. Cities since "The Ferguson Effect," as police are reluctant to enter certain neighborhoods or even leave their cars
3. 12% of White and Hispanic Homicides are due to police officers, while only 4% of African American homicides are due to police officers

You deliberately made it seem as though Slager got off free. This is not the case; the dude is fuked.
Which cops needed to go to jail? Let me guess.. Darren Wilson? Please.

Irrelevant, this just makes people less sympathetic, doesn't mean he had to die. He was wrong to resist(very wrong), but isn't that what cops are trained for supposedly? Are humans perfect beings who should all act the same? Maybe he just had it that day? You never had a day where you were like **** it?

He had a license to carry last time i heard.
Two different incidents. Castile had a license to carry. Alton was a felon and could not legally possess a firearm.Iv'e seen both the videos from two different angles, he was pinned down by both officers and seemed to be very stationary. Of the two videos that are out right now, none have his other arm in view but you are quick to side with the officers. I wonder why? Anyways, lets say he reached for his gun. there were 2 officers pinning him down, there was no way he could have got said gun or pointed and fired said gun. IF he somehow, could the cop spent around 6 seconds warning him to stop reaching for his pockets, he has two officers on top of him. They could have easily stopped him from reaching. But i see you fail to see that.
You can see him cocking his arm and rolling before they shoot him. Their SOP is "if he's resisting and going for the gun then counter with equal force." And you're right - he was pinned by two officers after being tazed, but they still could not contain him. Who's to say he wouldn't have eventually overpowered them and then gone for his gun? Given his size, that's what was more likely to happen. But at least if that had happened it would have been more obvious and the subsequent violence would likely never have happened. The officers felt he was a risk to their and others' safety and had to act accordingly.
I've said from day one that Castile was wrongfully killed. However, with Alton you see that he was complacent, many others including myself see that he wasn't, and the truth is somewhere in the middle. I'm willing to agree to disagree about this until the investigation is concluded and like I said, if the evidence shows the cops screwed up I will take their side. Can you say the same if it shows they were in the right?
