Obama and the democrats have been calling the police racist murderers for a while now it was just a matter of time before this happened. Hopefully this case won't disappear like the two NYC cops who were executed did.

It's pretty clear that 99% of cops are voting Trump in this election, the amount of hatred the other side has towards cops is unbelievable. Looking at social media and how people think this guy is a hero is unfathomable to me.

In these controversial cases, there is an investigation. If it turns out the shooting was justified (e.g. Michael Brown and soon to be Alton Sterling), then the officers walk away with their freedom and a ruined reputation. If the shooting was not justified, they face consequences.
Actually in this case: He is free on bond living the good life.

all the officers on the scene filed identical reports supporting Ofc Michael Slager.http://thinkprogress.org/justice/201...ally-happened/

It was not until a bystanders video surfaced the investigation changed. Without that video...he would still be an officer.

By the way, the bystander's video certainly made it easier to see what happened, but forensic evidence would have shown that Scott was shot in the back from a distance (unlike Brown).

You need to read, I was interested in the statistical analysis methodology and the source of the data, ie how was the data collected as that is important in deriving definitive conclusions. I did not say 3 men, I said 30+ years of associating with numerous black colleagues.....

otherwise might as well by into social science and their resulting "studies".....wait

What kind of an animal opens fire in a crowded area with women and children while shooting at cops? Specifically, to "just kill white people"? All it does is continue the same ole narrative.

Diversitydoesn't seem to be working like the left claims it does. What's their favorite saying again? Oh yeah, "Diversity is our strength.".

Ok so you said you are interested.

Why haven't you opened another tab in google and learned more about it and educate yourself?

There are hundreds of sources that prove this phenomenon. Why are you asking ITT?

Nobody here is your research assistant.

We posted a commonly accepted and proven infographic. IF you really want to go deeper than that and do research thats on you.

Its not like people just made that infographic up out of thin air and posted it as propaganda.

Just because nobody here wants to do your research for you doesnt mean the stats aren't real

Irrelevant, this just makes people less sympathetic, doesn't mean he had to die. He was wrong to resist(very wrong), but isn't that what cops are trained for supposedly? Are humans perfect beings who should all act the same? Maybe he just had it that day? You never had a day where you were like **** it?

Iv'e seen both the videos from two different angles, he was pinned down by both officers and seemed to be very stationary. Of the two videos that are out right now, none have his other arm in view but you are quick to side with the officers. I wonder why? Anyways, lets say he reached for his gun. there were 2 officers pinning him down, there was no way he could have got said gun or pointed and fired said gun. IF he somehow, could the cop spent around 6 seconds warning him to stop reaching for his pockets, he has two officers on top of him. They could have easily stopped him from reaching. But i see you fail to see that.

I dunno about you...living free, hanging out with your bro's, drinking, eating good food, phucking women, is definitely the good life compared to living in prison. Ur life in the free world that bad? thinking prison life aint that bad? lol.

You are just paranoid lol
Can't be too paranoid when cops and civilians are beginning to shed each other's blood. It's getting real serious out there, no matter how hard you guys try to ignore it or downplay it. Obviously, it's a pressing enough matter for some people that they'd martyr themselves.

I've seen both videos and in NO case would there be an excuse for lethal action. I've seen videos where I agree with the cops. This isn't one of them. It's another case of "miscommunication" on the cops' side.

It's been gradually getting worse since Furgeson and Trayvon. It's not just racism at this point.

Black people are being used by BLM and police brutality crap. Hispanics are being used by "illegal immigrant" nonsense. Stop being ****ing sheep and turn off the damn tv, get off social media, and go outside. Minorities are just unwilling pawns used to mask the true purpose of all of this: to divide and conquer. The data is not available in the form I asked for - I already know this...and the source of data is mostly from interviews or surveys.....now ask yourself about the reliability of collecting data from what people say about what they think from day to day ie repeat-ability, and then think about the statistical validity of data that changes often....then think about drawing hard conclusions from that "study"

LOL

If that's true (and I didn't see the video btw), the guy got what was coming to him.

Cops told him to stop moving and he still kept on

Why is it such a hard concept for some people to grasp that when a cop tells you to do something, you ****ing DO IT and don't keep on. Don't do **** unless they tell you to

I dunno... With thug culture being so glorified, maybe it's just a harder concept to grasp within the black community cuz, ya know... **** authority, right? I'm hard. Ain't nobody gonna tell me ****. **** that pig cuz I ain't doing nothing wrong!

Maybe the alternative would be to act like a decent human being and not a total piece of trash and then you won't get treated like one

There's a fine line between a black person and a n*gger and it don't have to do with whether or not you're dressed up or have on ball shorts, nike's, and a snapback.

So maybe if you're the one getting "mistreated" by cops all the time, it's probably time you take a look in the ****ing mirror

You're confusing the two cases. Sterling was a convicted felon and cannot legally hold a firearm or live in the home of someone else who owns firearms, let alone obtain a license to carry.

I think the first video, there was an excuse and it was justified. But what made it crazy is the way it was point blank and horrific.

The second video was not justified but also not on purpose and it was also a snuff, horrific thing.

The problem is people who have victim mentality have way too much emotion and relate the black condition to that horrific snuff scene. The way they relate to that victim is illogical and enter the real depth of their soul for no reason.

It triggers their victim mentality even if it was or wasn't justified.

Essentially its a childlike emotional response, their reaction to the snuff footage.

They aren't really related but them empathize with it because they are pure bred racist through and through to the core.

They don't have mature fully developed mind so they cant handle it in a mature way.

As sad as it is we have to stop supporting these people and their illogical emotionally immature reactions because it incites more harm and a tribal mentality.

Im sorry but we cannot give legitimacy to these types of emotionally immature attitudes and prejudices against police or the white race.

It really is a sad state of affairs in the U.S.

Through lack of leadership and guidance through our elected officials, we have dived deeper into racial divisions, in an era where we have more access to education and the ability to understand differing cultures/mindsets than ever before.

1. Per the FBI a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by an African American than a police officer is likely to kill an unarmed African American
2. Homicides have spiked 17% in the 50 largest U.S. Cities since "The Ferguson Effect," as police are reluctant to enter certain neighborhoods or even leave their cars

Sorry, if you have blue hair I'm going to think you're an idiot. If you dress like a gangbanger, I'm probably going to think you're in a gang. Outward appearance matters, regardless of what the liberal morons tell you. I've been friends with actual gang members (black and Hispanic); wearing the wrong thing in the wrong neighborhood will get you killed. Don't act like clothing is irrelevant.

Which cops needed to go to jail? Let me guess.. Darren Wilson? Please.
all of the ones that didnt have reason to fear for their life, aka so many you can't even count. Not all make the news. There was one where I live not long ago and it didn't make national news

I'm not saying it was a death order; hell, people with criminal records are some of the hardest workers I've seen. But there's no denying that someone with a two decade rap sheet is more likely to commit another crime and resist arrest; they're actually more likely to because "I'm not going back." Even the FBI and DoJ say as much:http://www.bjs.gov/index.cfm?ty=tp&tid=17
He had a license to carry last time i heard.
Two different incidents. Castile had a license to carry. Alton was a felon and could not legally possess a firearm.
You can see him cocking his arm and rolling before they shoot him. Their SOP is "if he's resisting and going for the gun then counter with equal force." And you're right - he was pinned by two officers after being tazed, but they still could not contain him. Who's to say he wouldn't have eventually overpowered them and then gone for his gun? Given his size, that's what was more likely to happen. But at least if that had happened it would have been more obvious and the subsequent violence would likely never have happened.

The officers felt he was a risk to their and others' safety and had to act accordingly.

I've said from day one that Castile was wrongfully killed. However, with Alton you see that he was complacent, many others including myself see that he wasn't, and the truth is somewhere in the middle. I'm willing to agree to disagree about this until the investigation is concluded and like I said, if the evidence shows the cops screwed up I will take their side. Can you say the same if it shows they were in the right?

I'm not a mind reader, but I'll be happy to investigate if you tell me which cases you're referencing.
