I love when vegans provide the argument that the "life cycle", aka hunting/killing for food and the industrial farms/slaughterhouses are not the same.
Don't get me wrong...they aren't the same at all. but that's where you stop being right. at the end of the day, how the animals are being killed is semantics. predators kill prey, etc etc. So either you're okay with people killing animals for food, or you arent. You don't get to cherry pick HOW those animals are killed...maybe centuries ago when the world population was a miniscule fraction of what it is today.
but yes, lets support hunting, arm all individuals in the world, and then when free-roaming animals start to thin out and there's no grocery stores to pick up food, we can see what happens.

Correct me if I'm wrong - Earth is a closed system meaning everything that has been on earth since the beginning is still here and always will be. So when we are using all this water to feed the animals it will eventually return back into the earth through whatever means.

Lol at vegans who care more about animals than other humans.
Brb the chicken needs to live a free life.
Brb Quang get to work I need my iPhone! 50cents a hour is enough for you mate!
Brb Ebele farm that cocoa! I need my chocolate!
If you really wanna save the earth or whatever, just kill yourself (not srs) since over population is our biggest problem (srs).
Honestly, you can do whatever you like. Eat meat, don't eat meat.
Just stop forcing your beliefs down others throat. It's no better than Jehovas witnesses.

what i can't stand is the living conditions of these animals...if you happen to have some spare time just do some research on mass farms and tell me if this is acceptable to you.
Concentration camps were heaven compared to most farms...."but you cant compare the human holocaust to this animal holocaust" is what youre probably thinking...why? cause animal have no feelings? cause they feel no pain? well guess what? They have emotions like you and me, they feel pain and they do not deserve to live an horrible life just because "meat is tasty!"

I'm a vegan and I'm pro sustainable-hunting. The problem (for me, and for the vast majority of people living in first-world cities) is that hunting in modern society is entirely impractical.
The other point is that hunting animals for food (in modern society) is completely unnecessary for human sustenance, and puts added strain on the health system due to all thechronic diseases that the consumption of animal meat causes in human populations.
What you also don't seem to understand is that ethical farming is not profitable. Animal agriculture is a business, and like any business their main endeavor is to maximize profit. The suffering and death of animals is of no concern to them. Sure, there are some small family-owned and operated farms who keep their animals in better conditions, but such farms cannot provide enough meat to feed the masses.

Japan is a country that is known for its sea food dishes yet it is in the top 5 healthiest countries.
France has a diet of mostly meat and dairy and despite smoking 10x more than india has 10x less chronic disease rates.

I went vegetarian a few months ago and I love it. Veganism is definitely more hardcore but I can see how it is a healthier way of living. I am slightly lacrose intolerant anyway. Eh might make the switch sometime down the line...who knows.

Also, even if red meat was the problem, there is other meat than red and processed, so meat itself is not the problem. That would be like saying we shouldn't eat mushrooms, because some are poisonous. There's absolutely nothing wrong with dairy products, poultry or seafood, and especially the latter can actually have a very beneficial impact on health.Yeah, except that countless studies have proven that it causes artherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, alzheimer's, and various cancers.

You may consider me an omnivore but since I can go 1-2 months as a vegan it isn't the case so being judgemental on my half vegan lifestyle is bigotry. I will be a full vegan someday as well as ,I try not to eat living animals but certain seafood has lots of omegas and benefits for your heart .Skinless chicken breast has very good protein. Everyone knows the benefits of eating more fruits and vegetables, it reduces more heart problems and heart attacks, protects the heart ,decreases strokes it even could prevent most cancers.So that's why I'm mostly vegan but after sometime choose to eat seafood, chicken because eating both has benefits ,and I believe both lifestyle eating habits have benefits.Like I said I will , hope to become a full vegan someday because of the whole animal killing that doesn't seem so ethical.

There's also nothing hypocritical about liking horses, but still killing and eating them. Again, a perfectly legitimate position. There's no rule that you have to have super general views on things. I don't have to either like or not like all animals, I can also just like some and not others.it is complete hypocrisy to feel outraged when you see a dog with a cut on its face wanting the dog to receive some sort of justice for its abuse but to turn the blind eye to a cow. its also hypocritical for people to be upset at asian cultures for using dogs and cats for its fur or eating them or whatever but to again still turn the blind eye to the cow the chicken the pig etc. logically there is no argument to defend factory farming what so ever.
also do not claim to be an animal lover if you have no problem with factory farming and what not. you are a dog/cat/hamster whatever lover not an animal lover. this is something i realized was hypocritical about myself. i volunteer at SPCA frequently and id feel awful for a cow there or a horse or whatever but would go eat a burger right after ignoring the fact of the abuse id just see of the same animal and claiming to be an animal lover.

No doubt about it, these are worse for you than actual eggs. So embarrassing to be an idiotic vegan.
Yeah, I was just talking from a purely "look at the act itself of doing it" perspective. I didn't say it was necessarily healthy (although just because those things have extra ingredients, I don't see why it's unhealthy, either).
So just because we are smarter we have permission to treat them like sht?
So if a smarter species came out of nowhere and did to us what we do to animals, would be acceptable because they're smarter?
No, not because we are smarter. It's because we don't need permission. And yes, morally it would be acceptable for someone to do that to us. I hope no one does it, though.
9 ingredients to replace 1.
Inferior in every single way.
Processed as ****.

like if I can solve a mathematical problem in 50 minutes and they could do it in 3, is it ok if they eat me?

Lets take a look at fast food.
Bun = vegan(sugar,HFCS)
Ketchup = Vegan(sugar, HFCS)
Mustard = Vegan(sugar, HFCS)
Tomato, Lettuce(no problems here)
Cheese
Beef
Bun(sugar, HFCS)
Fries = Vegan
Pop = Vegan(Pepsi and coke contains no animal products or pepsin despite all cries otherwise)
And you have the nuts to claim its that ****ty meat and cheese that causes obesity and disease and not the empty calories, sugar and carbs that repeatedly spike insulin with little nutritional value? Lol what a delusional mindset vegans have.

Thing is, you actually do sound like a bitch with your sarcastic responses and getting offended over everything.
