Don't need or want to come at you, just pointing something out. Personally don't chase the $, but to each his own. To me a car is just transportation, it means nothing else, and I personally find it hard to associate people who see cars as status symbols, as more than likely we will have very little to nothing in common.

I enjoy certain niceties too, but I have a fairly unique perspective on life that many people don't understand.

LOL brah if you notice in the OP I specifically addressed aesthetics of cars anyways and noted some are utilitarian and that is ok, there is just no reason to drive a hideous car when there are cheap cars that look good. Just LOL

I own a pathfinder:

I don't give af wether other people like it or not, it's a very reliable comfortable and safe vehicle.

505 a year just to tax it though...

My gf drives a BMW 320 msport and it has by far the most aesthetic and comfortable interior I've driven in, especially on long journeys.

Lots of little (but expensive) problems with it though

There is no way it is as sturdy as a comparable car with normal design. Every time I see one of these on the road I want to filet my own eyeballs because of the horrendous asymmetry

No, i judge people when i see them and hear there story, not by the car.

Because why would you give a bitchy soccer mom driving a 2016 bmw more respect than a guy whos driving a '96 honda whos working his way through college the hard way?

See?

Wasn't it Kirk Kerkorian that drove firebirds, tauruses, etc ? If you aren't into cars, that is fine but you are a multi-billionaire. You could buy and scrap a new BMW everyday of the week but you drive around in that? Moderation!

No. I drive a '99 Camry every day to work and on the weekends take out my fully restored '79 Z28 for a cruise that my pops and i restored ourselves over a 3 year period. My dad has a '72 Chevelle SS that he also restored himself and drives a 2000 Camry everyday to work as well.

I could care less what people drive, doesn't affect me one bit. Granted I may not ride with them if I don't have to, lol.. My step dad is loaded and chooses to drive an old beat up F150. I have a newer FJ Cruiser and choose to drive my old F250...

Group of us were on a night out and he generously offered to pick us up, my pal asked him if he was in his 'Juke' when he said he was everyone just started laughing and telling him to fuk off.

Ended up hanging up on us.
