just because they have an ugly car doesn't mean they don't have money. most people aren't car enthusiasts either and just want something A to B.

i have a '97 subaru impreza i daily. thing is ugly as chit but super reliable

my other car is a mazda

Here's my take:

-a 10/10 driving a beater (but well maintained, clean) probably has her priorities straight, good with money, not a snob, is more admirable in my book.

-anyone who drives a luxury SUV/crossover; can tell they're helpless human beings that can't take care of themselves. You wouldn't exist in nature.

-95% of Subaru and Prius drivers, get the fukk off the road, you should hand in your license immediately. Not because you drive the aforementioned cars, but you're the type who drives way too slow and way too cautious to the point where you're a liability on the road.

Other than that, I don't judge.

Nah, I do all my own repairs. Certain older cars still look good IMO. Below is the same car I have, mine has more modern, nicer rims though. Like I said, would rather have a nice 15K watch than a 15K car or invest my money in other things.

I do have a 2008 Diesel pickup that is nice, but I haven't drove in years since I have a company truck now. It just stays parked in the garage and I use it once a year for ski trips with the bros. Bought it when I was broke as **** and needed to roll a loan into it, Will never buy a newer truck/car again.

All that said, I couldn't be seen in some beat up, POS car with three different colors of paint. I wouldn't be seen in some brand new econobox POS either.

I hate people who drive ricers (honda civic ex with fart exhaust and spoiler, lowered 1990s vw golfs, stanced infinitis). Rest idc just assume they don't know anything about cars to buy a brand new Toyota or Honda for 72 months payments just lol..

Nah, mine is stock. I have rims off a Q70 on it. I don't like that lowered look or those rims. Just did a quick search to give an idea.

The thing that blows my mind the most is I always see guys driving the ugliest cars. PT Cruisers, Chrysler Xfire, Priuses, etc etc.
Yep, couldn't agree more with this post the most ITT.

Also if people have those chitty 'stance' cars that are slammed and 'cambered'(?) lmao. I legit burst out laughing every time I see those trashcans going 10mph swerving all over the road to avoid the smallest rocks and potholes so they don't lose their bumpers and side skirts. If you drive chit like that then I automatically assume you're a trashy person and don't want to associate with you dead srs

One of the very few things I have strong judgement on.

Currently driving a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. Under 30k miles, got it for 3g. Not making any panties wet, but it gets me from A to B and is reliable.

Mirin price tag also. 2005-2016 and only 30k. Sounds like it was pretty much untouched over a decade.

This is what I drive.

It looks nice, it only cost me $6k, and it's reliable. I don't judge people on what they drive. But I do think it's funny when you see someone brag about their ballin lifestyle and they're driving a 3 Series.

Older lady who just drove it around town to church or the store every once in a while. Mechanic who checked it out pretty much told me either I buy it or he buys it and sells it for a higher price.

Lose respect for them? No not really they could be great respectable people, but yeah when I see somebody in an extremely boring car, I do assume they must be boring people lacking creativity.

There are extremely reliable cars out there with both looks, reliability and MPG. Makes me think they lack the effort to look. That, or it's all they could afford at the time which is fine but these days you can even find low cost used cars that are great.

Basically, yes though. I assume their life is bland as hell and sure maybe they go hiking or take vacations but there's no big spark in them. There are exceptions to everything though so I try to not think that lol.

(and sorry, that white Prius killed me haha, come on now..)

edit: and just to clarify, no I don't judge people who have sh!tty cars. Those people are struggling and I have a soft spot for struggling people, just wish I could help them. It's the 2016 stock silver Honda Accord base model drivers that make me scratch my head in disappointment. They also tend to go 64 in a 65. I always picture them going back to the most standard, normal house and boring family I could possibly imagine with zero imagination lol. I try not to judge, I usually only judge on the road when I'm driving lol if I were to actually meet someone those judgements go out the window and start from scratch once I meet them.
