Living in Colorado is like living in the house in the middle. If you live even close to commiefornia that whole hillside is fall out from under you too.

Mlok is going to win.
No one wants to pay royalty fees to make keynod rails.
I have both. I prefer mlok.

mlok crew, I don't see the point in having two separate mounting systems which means accessories aren't standardized to one mounting system. the industry should just choose one and stick with it

Also, I don't care if Mlok or Keymod wins, I think they're both excellent systems and once you're set up, you're set up.

I did more digging on that AWB though, from what I gather they need to get signatures on it before it progresses.

follow up on the Ruger Sale Prices

LC9s $320 - any lower price on the internet before? Can't remember what I've seen - prob with transfer fees and chit come out even
LCP $200 - this is the lowest price I've seen on the internet so I'll prob pick one up

somebody was asking about the RPR being on sale
RPR - $1050
RPR II - $1250

the basic AR is $600 - think I'll skip that one

If I can break away from work planning on picking up the LC9s and the LCP

This is the wrong attitude.
You sound like you've already accepted a ban that hasn't happened it that state yet.
When something comes up, fight it. Call your representatives, tell them they won't be getting your vote come re-election time if they don't oppose infringements.

If you think "grandafathering" is a good compromise type in pre-ban Glock mags on gunbroker for MA. $250 for a 20 year old 33 round mag. $150 for a 20 year old 15 round mag.

Think of the children. Your future children.

"Oh the things I have will be grandfathered in so I will be good." At some point you realize you are making too many concessions and by the time it reaches that point it is too slow to stop the train and we are full gun ban.

I'm not disagreeing with you that this kind of thing should be fought, but on the other hand you should understand where I'm coming from. Ca, where lots of people fought this kind of thing, and it made no difference at all.

Registering guns by requiring federal government permission and paperwork (and fee) for every transfer is gun control.

And so goes the tale of CA emigrants screwing over OR and WA.

Effective registration? That doesn't count. Possible AWB? Oh well there's a grandfather clause (for now) so I can keep what I already have (for now). Good 'nuff

Having Fridays off is sweet.

I'm on paid vacation today, feeling very hhnngggg off my 20" A2 cause I got to shoot it yesterday. Even with that mediocre trigger the thing is a tack driver.

And so goes the tale of CA emigrants screwing over OR and WA.You're so right farley, it's my fault these scumbag politicians are trying to pass all these anti gun laws....

spray painting pistol parts, yes or no? seems like you'd have to put a hell of a lot more care into making sure you don't get paint in the mechanisms of the frame and whatnot. kinda want to rattle can my Glock slide or frame a burnt bronze but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not.

I don't see why not. Take the slide off the gun and just mask off the inside of the slide with some poster board/tape or something.
