i been nw3 since 18 years old.. jumped on rogain have a super thick head of hair and hairline is growing in.. been about 9 months.. but still a lot of baby hairs.. but now that i have been using rogaine on the front my spot in the back looks like its balding.. i wont out run it.. but i been rocking the skin fade with a one on top since 13yrs old.. just decided to grow hair recently

It will at least take 3+ months (sometimes up to six months) to see results. That is if you apply rogaine everyday.

rogaine and NIzoral?? Go back to that derm and demand Finasteride. I hopped on 4 months ago and it has stopped my thinning dead in its tracks. Cheap as hell too. $20 from costco (no insurance) for 90 day supply of the generic.

Don't listen to any fools talking about side effects. They occur in something like 2% of patients. I haven't had any so far, and my hair looks great.

Rogaine does work when you get it early I think which you did. It's hard to tell sometimes because your hair is always going different directions and different lighting etc.

I actually tried using it on my hairline and there has definitely been some growth but I don't think it'll ever grow to the length and thickness of the rest of the hair on my head but it shows that it works i guess.

Read my balding thread.

You'll be fine op. I had the exact thing happen to me. niz and minox helped and it regrew a little for over a year, but it was still a little thinner than everywhere else. Stayed like that for a while, then it just shed like crazy and minox and niz just kept it from shedding too much. Eventually stopped minox and niz and hair was dropping like no tomorrow. So I just said fuk it and shaved and didn't look back

OP, go to your GP and get a Blood Panel done. Srs. There are a few nutrient deficiencies that can cause hair loss as well . Make sure your health is in check first. I agree with the other posters. You should't have lost THAT much hair in 2 weeks.

Yeah its better to start sooner than later with hair treatments. I did minoxidil on my front that had receded 10 years earlier and just got some fuzz. It wasn't worth it because it leaves the scalp slimy for about an hour, twice a day. I used the kirkland brand, apparently the rogaine foam dries faster.

If you're really determined to keep your hair and hopefully regrow what was lost you gotta do the big 3: minoxidil, nizoral and finasteride.
