Kids are pussies these days, but are you fukng serious?

I wouldn't commit suicide but talking like that about a 13 yo kid is retarded.

He wasn't old enough to take control of his own life, and it's very clear he had nobody to look up to.

No way a 13 year old male would kill himself over some taunting and a couple of fights, dafuq. Something else must have been going on... like him being a chubby little homo going to catholic school with his dad molesting him every night for being gay... or something equally christian like that.

So I heard about this story, but didn't get too much into it. I know the dad made some video of him reading a letter and crying. A lot of people are blaming the school, but why aren't the parents not being blamed?

Nowadays parents just throw computers, cellphones, tablets etc at their kids and say have fun! Meanwhile they are constantly involved in social media, they can't get away from their friends or bullies. No one takes responsibility for raising kids anymore, and we end up with kids who do not know how to cope or take care of themselves.

Back to my days in middle school, the biggest kid in the class used to bully me along with his smaller, cooler lackies. He was in my face one day spewing garbage as he usually would. I had enough and punched him as hard as I could, knocked him to the ground in an instant. His friends did nothing to help him, he cried, and we both ended up in detention. I was told fighting is not the answer, but good for me to stand up for myself. He never bothered me after that day.
I was bullied, too. Not physically, but emotionally. I was a wreck emotionally, and still am to a degree. I ended up taking it out on friends (by being an ******* to them to try and make myself feel better). I feel like a total ******* for doing that.

It really fuked up my self esteem and self image. Only now, 20 years later, am I really starting to get over it. It helps to have a great job and the guy who bullied me now works a dead-end job while paying child support.

I will never understand suicide because I haven't been around it.

I mean.....imo, it takes way more strength and determination to kill yourself than to deal with everyday life. That same str/det couldn't carry them in life?

No offense to anyone.

i hope this never happens to my boys. my boys are great kids and has such big hearts; it doesnt help that they a little on the small side compared to their classmates and are minorities is a small white town either.... i'd be so devastated if they were bullied and teachers did nothing to help.

If your family loves you, you shouldnt have the thought of killing yourself

rest easy kiddo
It could be more the teacher's fault than anything. They're the only adults in a environment of CHILDREN. Even if they are not direct witnesses(Which I bet they were), it's their moral obligation to tell parents of all parties involved.

And to conclude that he doesn't have a loving family?

What a waste of oxygen you are bro.

Damn, what a shame. Kid could had turned out good looking, joined a gym or some sport or whatever and with the help of someone change his entire view of life, and he could had been 16 being the life of the party and getting his dick sucked every friday.

Huge mistake by that kid, but the ******* parents are to blame as well, just as the teachers. A 13 year old healthy kid doenst kill himself without his parents having at least a bit of responsibility
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I'm wondering about this too. Not saying his parents didnt love him ... But I just wonder how aware they were that this kid was being tormented every day and how hopeless he felt. Did he ever open up to them and tell them what was going on, did the parents do anything about this and take it up to the school/board?. How actively involved in the kids life were they.

From what I read it just seems like the teachers told him that it would pass. They failed him.

That's probably what the parents said too. That's why when my kid was bullied I took action and taught him how to throw a punch. And I talked to the teacher right away and let her know that I wanted the other kid's parents contacted as well.

~was bullied as a little fatboy~
~pulled myself out of it and have been a stud since 18 years of age~
~these little fgts are huge puss*es~

EDIT: Don't get it twisted, this is an incredibly sad story and theres many factors to blame. But to me, the kid took the easiest, most selfish way out. I've been there. YouCANreinvent yourself and restart.

I was 225lbs going into 8th grade. Got picked on mercilessly everyday. Like most kids in the late 90's I loved wrestling. Saw a chokeslam one day, thought it looked really cool. One of the bullies kept giving me flat tires while on line in the cafeteria one day... You see where this is going.

An entire lifetime of rage bubbled over, and I gave this kid a full on chokeslam in the middle of the cafeteria (sure the 100+ pound weight advantage helped). Room went silent. Teacher quietly congratulated me for standing up for myself, and told the dean I was defending myself. Prob helped that that other kid was known as a "troublemaker".

Never got picked on again, and lost about 75lbs over the next 6 months. Changed my life.

Unfair tbh.

Some people aren't just built like that. Some kids need a little encouragement and help to get to that level where they can take on the bully nomsayin.

True. That's where parents/teachers/mentors come to hand I feel, especially at that young of an age. Was he under privileged or what was the deal?
