never again, unless the cut is intentionally slow and therefore pretty easy to maintain.

depends, if the goal is fat loss and I'm close and pretty lean like I am now, it's dumb to have an all out cheat day. I do however take maintenance days when I need them, but I don't go over, it's just going to wheelspin the fuk out of you. If I'm maintaining or gaining then yeah an all out cheat day is fine like once a month.

Snapped this pic last night my dudes. Not sure if I'm at my goal of 8% or not but I don't have any more weight to lose without going below 200 lbs so I'm finished cutting.

Can say it sucks ass but you definitely get used to it, and cutting is worth it for the sickening end result. No better feeling than having some muscle and also 6-pack abs.

Now I just need to get a tan hehe

Do what you want to do. No sense hating something 40+ hours a week.

If I'm 10% at 200 that means I have 20 pounds of fat, so if I lost 10 pounds and 5 of it was fat I would be 190 lbs and 7.9% bodyfat.

So pretty good estimation, I'd say.

Hey started out in HVAC in the 70s as a kid, went to school in his 20s and finished his mechanical engineering degree around 28 years old. He worked for two of the top engineering firms for 4 or 5 years a piece, then THE top HVAC control company in existence as a manager. He made plenty of money but hated it.

The career advancement was there, the money was there, but he hated being indoors, dealing with office politics, people that wouldn't just "work", so the first opportunity he had to get into the pipefitters union, he took it.

In today's dollars, he's making 1/3 of what he did in the 80s, and he's not struggling. He's one of the top automated controls technicians in the area and gets paid well.

He's just much happier being able to do something he enjoys (fixing problems with equipment) rather than something he doesn't (fixing problems with people)

I get that just work part. Im mirin tradesmen in the fact they have specific jobs to do, they get to just get on with it and not sit in an office with ******* coworkers holding hands making sure they dont upset anyone while working on pointless projects.

Thats a lonnnng time to be doing it too, i bet people dont even realise the guy whose turned up to fix their sht is probably as honed in on his craft more than probably any other tradesman they will most likely meet

That's why i got in the trade myself. I get to learn from him (lucky situation, i almost didnt get a job at the same company) and expand my knowledge bases.

Its pretty wild, because the company he originally worked for was bought out by the company we work for now. So there are accounts that he's been in touch with for over 40 years. Quite neat IMO

Looking good.

People will think you're a lot bigger than you are even if/when you go below 200.

I'm helping to a friend with Men's Physique posing
He's a disabled, Cerebral Palsy, world record holder, several times, in deadlift.
He wants to try his had at men's physique.
We just went through the; "I'm not going under 180 pounds."
He's afraid he'll look too emaciated if he goes below that weight.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

You're absolutely right, the number on the scale is pointless compared to how you look in the mirror.

It's just a mentality thing, and on my next cut I'll probably keep going until 190.

I've been cutting for a really long time though, so it may be a good idea to just maintain for a while and get my body used to this new state.

The first time I did a prep diet I was afraid to go below 190.

I did and I was amazed at how much better I looked.
