Fuk you money doesn't start until you have 50 million in liquid assets. 200k-300k a year isn't fuk you money.

For example playing in the nhl which isn't even a popular sport the lowest paid players are making 2-3 times that.

I'll have $140k in loans to repay, a total of my 5 degrees at university (including dentistry). My dental degree is only costing me $40k in loans lol. Gotta love studying in Australia

I don't have any issue with it, once I start working.

That's simply a matter of opinion, and what ones expenditures in life are like.

One things for sure - it's above $100k/yr.

I consider fuk you money being able to completely wreck your reputation and still be able to live a comfortable life.

For example Leonardo Dicapprio could make a statement saying he hates gay people and thinks all trannies should be thrown in concentration camps and he'd still be balling.

You as a dentist go and publicly say something like that and you are fuked.

So maybe not 50 million I'm thinking 20-30 million is fuk you money.

Lol, that's because an actor doesn't have all the expectations, ethical conduct regulations, upstanding qualities etc that healthcare professionals... or even lawyers... are encumbered with. Whether by society in general, or the regulating body of the state or country for their profession. I wouldn't say this is a good thing lol. I'm glad that there are these reprimands in place if professionals fuk around like that

"Doctors of the oral cavity"

In other words

"Doctors of filling in cavities"

Just lmfao.

Put a dentist in a hospital and let's see how they fair making rounds.

You need to be more humble brah.

You aren't a doctor. You are the lowest of the low in terms of medical professionals.
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

1) dentists 100% are scam artists. you can go to 5 different dentists and they will recommend 5 different treatments. if they have low # of patients, they will suggest more treatment.

2) i got into med school. getting into dentistry, and dentistry itself = pathetic. no one cares.

3) being black = 1.5x multiplier for professional school admissions

4) he is from australia

5) calling himself a doctor. no M.D. would ever recognize a dentist as a doctor, period. just because you learn some stupid chit in school doesn't mean anything. a person fresh out of 4 years of med school is still not a doctor in practice. they have to do 4-6 years of actual training then they can rightfully practice medicine as a doctor. dentists go straight from school to cleaning teeth. all of that chit they learned is just reference material. any serious disease = referral to an M.D.

all of this = LOL at bragging about dentistry. the dumbest fukin women i knew got into dental school so easily LOL

Lmao, lets get to the point here of all your denial. You're just butthurt you didn't get anywhere in life, aren't you? My guess is that you are some kind of tradecel or 9 to 5 slave cuck, who fukked up in high school and is now lingering around in life directionless and in a chitty job you hate. And when you see someone successful, or in a field of high acclaim and regard in society, all you can do is hate.

Haters gonna hate, right?

"no M.D. would ever recognize a dentist as a doctor, period."

It's pretty clearly stipulated that they do call them doctors, lmao. You're still in fantasy land eh?

An orthopaedic surgeon in my class admitted several weeks ago, that dentists are indeed doctors...". Would you like that spelled out to you? It seems you're quite slow on the uptake. Are you missing a chromosome?

"Any serious illness, refer to an MD"? Uh no. Tell me, what is an MD alone going to do about Sjrogen's syndrome, periodontal abscess, oropharngeal cancer, or a patient with a traumatic occlusion? Do you even know what these things are? Lmfao.Have you heard of the term - interdisciplinary medical team? Yeah, dentists are a part of that, and doctors, specialists, dentists etc WORK TOGETHER to come to the solution for the patient in diseases requiring input from several professionals.

"Dumbest people got into dental school"?

Here in Australia, the top 2% of high school students may be able to guarantee themselves a spot in a Doctor of Dental Surgery program....that's if they also pass a challenging aptitude test and interview too .

I have a colleague in my cohort who completed a PhD from Cambridge University in Medical Physics. I have an orthopaedic surgeon, who was quite highly reputed at his hospital, and got 99.8% in his high school examinations for university, and had a placement with the World Health Organisation for several months. I also have another doctor in my course who had a placement at the Mayo Clinic in USA (one of the top medical research institutes in the world)... who now wants to be a maxillo-facial surgeon.

My dental cohort has 13 EXAMS at the end of this year, to get into the following year. The medical school cohort of the same year only has 1 exam. Lmao

Nuff said?

Don't even bother trying to rationalise this other idiots statements. There are more holes in this dickwad's statements than a target at a shooting range.

Once again, you show your ignorance.

Congratulations, on a poor attempt to minimalize an entire profession that is about the health of the oral cavity, in cunjunction with the whole individual to "doctors of filling in cavities".

"Put them in a hospital..." .... Dentists ARE stationed in hospitals, fukwit.

"Lowest of health professionals"? How delusional can you get?

Be humble? Being humble/modest doesn't buy you yachts....

the entire premise of your argument is that dentistry is pretigious in australia.

we will never agree. sure, dentists can be rich here in USA, but only if they own a high-traffic practice (hard to do since there is a dentist every block) or are oral surgeons/orthodontists (only 1-2 people from each class are allowing to become OS or ortho, so very hard).

combined with the fact that dentistry is easy to get into here compared to med school + dentists frequently over-suggesting treatments leading to mistrust = dentistry is whatever in USA
