I was born midway, around 96. Still have a lot of 90's kids feels. I mean you can't really define a solid cut off unless its 98ish onwards IMO.
lot of entitled *******s around my age group but still a lot of overlap.

brb actually play outside, bike with homies
brb had fights a few times
brb not everything given ASAP. i was considered pretty priveldge but nowhere close to the kids these days. I had a mp3 player, and the cd walkman player, and a gameboy as my entertainment. wasnt even given a phone til i was like 13/14. then i see kids in 2nd grade with ipads SMH



yeah i agree OP. kids these days think the world is so easy. there brains are probably phucked up from how quick everything is on their ipads, iphones, computers, etc. I didn't even start using the internet heavy til I was in middle school. Now kids in elementary schools have ********s, instagrams, youtubes, and they're addicted.


what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
i wouldnt say living in poverty creates the best character but you need some hardships/journeys/toughness and these kids these days are going major soft.

Fuk miss the 90's. Back when playing outside was the main form of entertainment.

Brb dinner time but still wanna play with my boys outside
Brb take my plate of lasagna and caesar salad outside and play while eating.
Brb go to the park to play Bball with the neighborhood kids
Brb just an excuse to get out of adults supervision so we can fight with the other kids we didn't like

I'm the same age.
For real. I was a little azzhole then and probably would have a nude trading racket in middle school.

I miss those days. They were honestly just simpler. I never see anybody outside anymore. My neighborhood when I was a kid was filled with kids. We used to roam around in packs of like 10-15 kids.

Now I drive through that area and get depressed because it looks like a ghost town.

The words, recession, unemployment, terrorism, war, were not even talking points.

Growing up we would ride bikes after school, dare each other to launch over stuff, blow stuff up with firecrackers, jump all sorts of random peoples fences, bomb hills, build badazz forts in the woods, piss all over everything, told ghost stories, look at the fabled boulder behind school that said "FU_CK" on it, melt green plastic army men into homosexual positions, catch snakes, pour liquid nitrogen on worms, and make epic adventure themed home movies with our friends, etc, etc

I Was a teen in the 90's and it was great. No cell phones, no bull**** ********, no cell phones yet, riding bikes everywhere and terrorizing the neighborhood. Actually I'm thinking of the late 80's early 90's.

89' birth here. I guess I could be considered a 90's kid. I can mostly really remember the later parts of that decade and the early 2000's

Some social media but not like it is today. Echo the statements about playing though. Not sure if kids DO that anymore. Everyday after school was street hockey, soccer, football anything really. Goldeneye matches with friends.

I wish I were a little bit older to experience some of the 90's more, but seeing home videos etc brings back some of the earlier memories.

I had a great childhood, wouldn't change it for anything. My sister is 13 now and spends ALL her time on snapchat/facetime etc with her friends she just saw at school. They don't really "play" or anything. I couldn't imagine that.

Spending so much time with friends that you start to get on each others nerves while playing a sport, then someone makes an out of line move and you don't talk to each other for a day or 2. Feels.

Hmm, we do this all the time. But I'd rather be born in '93 and get the experience that you old brehs got to experience, plus the technological advances and still be relatively young. So yeah.

Edit: Let me also add, I would hate to be a young/early teen boy in this day and age. I know people have always chitted on porn and yes it can be bad for the young mind, but Instagram is much worse IMO. The instant gratification as porn, but with girls your own age being all-around provocative and with Snapchat... Of course its nice for us because were adults, but I think it would have been too much for me ~12.. Possibly.
