We would play man hunt every night during the summer for years. It was an event. Everyone from school would ride their bikes up. Always had around 20-30 people. We sectioned off dozens of houses in every direction that had the best back yards. Tons of trees, ditches & other natural barriers. Hopped so many fences you'd thought we were urban youth running from the police. If you were captured, the base you were held captive at was an electrical power box lol. Some of my best memories, srs. Always played to 1-2am. There was always a bevy of cute sloots to mess around with too if you 'hid' together. And as the night grew old, if you managed to last long enough, you'd have to signal to the remaining people on your team also running for their life so you could devise a strategy for winning. ALL the pressure was on you guys to free everyone else. So you'd sneak around the perimeter/outskirts of what was considered in the field of play, until the timing was just right, and you made your move, and became the hero of the night and talk of the town. Zig zagging through streets, other kids cheering you on, just LOL. So funny man. And when it was all over, everyone just sat on the curb hanging out shooting the shiit, dropping skittles in their coke vanillas, laughing, hooting & hollering. One night, we found a huge ass TV outside someone's house waiting to be thrown away, so we wheeled it up to one of my friend's driveway, hooked it up, ordered pizza, and played halo until we saw the sunrise. If you didn't have memories like this as a kid, I seriously feel bad for you.

Faarrrk, I remember man hunt - GOAT schoolyard game. I swear to Christ I was running sub 10 second 100m dashes due to the adrenaline that game induced.

Totally forgot about butts up. I remember playing that, and smear the queer during recess. Hell we would play red rover and dodgeball during PE. That feel when playing dodgeball and chucking a ball at a kids face that you couldn't stand. Felt good man.

that and just legit backyard football as a kid.

Saturday mornings full tackle get neighborhood kids to play. always pretending you were your favorite college FB player or pro, no refs so fouls were always hilarious with argueing and just legit annihilation in backyard football.

26 right now and never even heard of the game before this thread. That's CT school systems for ya, but we used to play wall-ball, that and tennis baseball were the highlights of our recess when we were younger.
