I promise that either you or your wife will regret this at some point. It is natural to instantly get the drive to have kids, and it will happen.

What? The only logical thing about being alive is making a baby. That is literally the only point in life is to pass on superior genes.

Hope your procedure was reversible (or perhaps you have a good lawyer and a prenup). As when your wife's baby clock is the only thing she can hear and all she sees is baby pictures on ******** there is a good chance of the topic coming up again.

Meh she is the bread winner of the house. Not worried about spousal support. Both of her bff's just announced they are prego lol. Thing you learn about marriage and women in general is that they always have something to bitch about.

I re-estimate my assessment, she is going to want kids in 1 year!

lol she is going to be BOMBARDED with baby conversation by her friends, and women love to stay in their group. I really hope you update this thread in about a year on your progress.

I completely understand where you're coming from OP. Your logic is extremely sound and I am of a similar mindset. Albeit, not as extreme, I would just rather postpone the whole kids thing until I'm a lot older (minimum 35).

Even though I'm younger than you, I can guarantee you that any older person, and even yourself, can attest to this. People change. You may feel this way now, and in 10 years you might feel the same. But you have no Idea when, or how, a potential change might hit you in the future. You may wake up in 17 years and find that everything in your life that you've been striving for, you've got, but you feel empty. Living your life ONLY for yourself is something that may seem great now, but you never know....In my opinion you're way too young to have made this decision. But hey, even if you regret it later on in life there are other alternatives like adoption, so that door is never really shut.

But, if you're happy now thats great. I think people jump the gun on children when they aren't ready for it and its irresponsible as fuk. You've got a good head on your shoulders and you know what you want out of your life. Best of lucky buddy boyo.

GJDM. hope your wife stays on board with that. Last GF I dated for 3 years went from not sure about kids to "if you don't have kids with me i'll find someone that will". I'm guessing she found that lol.

I don't want kids either but I damn sure don't want to alter my manly birthright ability to impregnate a woman. Just seems far too extreme. I would also bet there are some mental and spiritual side effects when a man eliminates this natural masculine ability. You might start craving tranny porn in a couple months.

Because of your youth and concomitant naivete I'm going to over look that outragiously ridiculous statement.

And pumping out babies you really don't want and the system has to take care of makes more sense?

Try being man enough to take care of those things before hand. Bringing a child into the world is a monumental responsibility. It's not something to be taken lightly. No wonder so many kids these days are messed up.

There is a limit to what the world can sustain. People can't just keep multiplying like rabbits. OP and his spouse should be applauded for their foresight.

This sort of mindset is why the poorer people are pumping out kids and the more well off are waiting till they are like 35+ and having 1 kid with more risk of genetic problems.

If anything people who have higher education and more money should be having MORE kids. They will be better educated and more productive to society.

Instead the poorer are breeding like rabbits and creating an idiotcracy

Going back til the dawn of humanity, every one of your ancestors had children and passed on their genetics.

Just think about that for a moment.

Your parents, their parents, their parents multiplied by however many generations of humans there have been, and even before that, from when we just just cavemen, before that when we were bacteria.

They all had kids. And now you end that chain of life.

Think about it

This, why do so many men commit suicide 40+ after getting divorced and losing their kids/family? By OP's logic they should be free to travel, **** bitches and focus on themselves and be so happy.

so your solution is for people with the money and household to support the raising of kids, shouldn't because poor people are having too many kids? where's the logic there.

They probably know no other life, they had kids at 18 before experiencing life. Also different people have different motivations.

I have never been depressed, whether I was poor, friendless, gf less, unemployed, etc. Always been content with life and my choices.

Ever see the movie "Home Alone"? Its not just about poor families. Besides, what's the point of having kids if you're never around to see them?

Parents spending half their time working while someone eles raises your child. Having kids because its trendy is not a reason to become parents.
