The cause was lost when the thought of her going to live somewhere else for six months slipped into her mind and she thought it was OK to bring it up. Ain't nothing you can do at that point. I don't think that's even the point the fact that his girlfriend wanted to leave him for a whole 6 months already should have set off an alarm.
