Where is the evidence you believe in?
Hint, if its from oil company lobbyists it's probably not the most trustworthy.
What again does the left gain from getting people to take steps to combat climate change?

I liked how people skipped over my statement which holds more value than anything in this thread.

I'm just not buying into the whole "conspiracy" as an argument. It doesn't conclude that itisn'ta conspiracy - but there needs to be wayyy more compelling evidence if they're gonna go that route.

Ignoring the basic reasoning that follows from the assumption that man made climate change is real(true) and nobody will do anything about it UNLESS there were regulations and taxes(true).
By the way, I'm a far right conservative. I dont care about climate change because I will be dead before the impact occurs. But to deny this is legit, with all of the science behind it, is moronic

These scientists have nothing to gain whatsoever. they and the liberals are just trying to prevent the planet from being destroyed because they give a s*it, while the conservatives just want to put profit over everything and let the world burn. thats what it comes down to, and you're an idiot if you cant see that

NOBODY IS SAYING THERE ISNT A TINY TINY EFFECT.
All the evidence says that.
That is not evidence for a problem or epidemic.
Its literally just a basic simple fact.
If you pee in the ocean the statement "humans are affecting the oceans" is true.
You can poll 1000 scientists to say, "is there pee in the ocean?"
yes there is!
SCIENTIFIC CONCENSUS!!!

thats all the carbon tax is, it is simply to force countries, businesses, and people to do the right thing. Without a carbon tax, why would anyone go green for the sake of a future generation they dont care about?

Like how?
And what time frames?
What is the estimated damage over time? And to what degree?
What exactly is supposed to happen? and why?
When?
And how much can we do, while still functioning as a healthy economy?
How will future exponential over-population human race deal with this?
How do you calculate such things?
Or have you not actually figured any of this out, just complaining about abstract emotionally loaded concepts?

I'm climate agnostic.
The only agencies with access to the real data are NASA/NOAA/IPCC and they've been proven to be frauding with unmotivated changes to the sensor bias values. Temperature data is presented as hard fact, but the reality is that any effects we are discussing and setting policy for is created by these agencies. We are acting on theory, not on data. And the people who make the theory are getting paid proportionally to the size of the problem.
