I told them I wanted to dispute the purchase and they said I can't because I didn't physically have it so they won't do a chargeback

The question was asked why he would order a $6k package while he was going to be away. Anytime you are ordering out of country there is the possibility that it will take longer to receive then you though. I've ordered stuff and one time it takes 7 days... another it will sit at customs for damn near 2 weeks and it takes 21 days. I've also ordered something from China before and it said it would take 2 weeks and somehow it made it to my place in under a week. If you need something you just order it and when it gets there it gets there. Especially anything with a signature just means that whenever you get home you just go pick it up. Not going to put my life on hold waiting for something to arrive.

I ordered this package on November 23rd & Dec. 05 FedEx had it... took over 2 weeks to deliver package

this happened to me before, bought a few cameras off ebay.

Fedex or UPS leaves the package with no signature. srs. Has happened many times before. I remeber I bought a few expensive watches and the same thing happened.

Long story short packed disappeared I did end up getting my money back.

^^This. I don't have this card but I have the Barclay world elite Mastercard. I had some chit happen where $2,000 was charged to my card and it wasn't by me or my wife at a Bestbuy. I was preparing to argue like hell on the phone with them but when I called the chick on the phone was like "Oh, ok we'll remove that charge right away" and that was it.

Once you get this situation figured out drop that card company and go somewhere else.
