If you cant get something in life its your own fault. We call out FAs for being losers who like to wallow in self pity so why should we treat women any different?

I am not shaming women into getting with men they dont want...I am shaming them for having stupid ideas about what it is attractive.

In fact, here is a Hollywood movie which summarises this whole conversation perfectly:

I do think there's a correlation between levels of narcissism and the decision not to raise children. That is not an insult, just an observation.

I don't think it's a coincidence that people in societies with high levels of individualism, now increasingly decide not to "sacrifice" and have a family.

Raising a child is not like growing a plant. It isn't simply a matter of X amount of hugs and kisses, and Y amounts of instruction.

This thread is amusing, because a lot of miscers are in "no marriage - no kids" crew, but yet the same people are upset at females who are in that same crew.
When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

Yup

state induced narcissism. But the problem is that the same narcissism is what is handicapping the very people claiming they're for not raising children. Divorced women end up worse off financially:

http://www.newstatesman.com/economic...en-worse-women

Singlw women poorer:

http://www.theatlantic.com/business/...n-cant/283097/

Married men better performers:

http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsle...nd-mens-health

The absolutely bizarre thing is there is a wealth of statistics showing the benefits of marriage for men and yet they still want to pretend perpetual singledom is this great magnum opus for the female population. Yes, I believe the neoliberal powers that be are doing this deliberately as destroying the family unit allows them to channel land and wealth accrued by women in the workforce back to the state. I dont think anyone realizes that what happened to the black community in the 60's and 70's is now set to happen to everyone else...perpetual female singledom, children born OOW, no cohesive family unit and a complete lack of ownership of assets or property. Men are being ejected from the system itself.

Lmao is not just because women are crazy, it's because they haven't found the right guy. We all want children someday, I haven't had kids because I haven't found the right woman. There's so many options that I get picky who I want to "breed" with. None of my siblings have kids besides my eldest sister, and spending time with her kids makes me want to have kids more, but I know it's not going happen anytime soon because I haven't and can't find the right partner yet, nor am I financially and mentally situated enough to raise kids anyway.

Shut up already.

Whining about ad hominems earlier and then calling someone an "absolute dumbass" is disingenuous. Your emotion makes you see things in such binary black and white/good vs evil that you can't even just call her a dumbass but rather an "absolute dumbass".

Try staying on point instead of referencing homosexuals (which if anything suggests your black and white view of human relationships is baseless) and then further being needlessly wordy by explaining them as "men who stick their dicks in other men" (no ****). How you would think the mentioning of homosexuals with an amateurish view of genetics (as if a pattern of behavior can be traced genetically like sickle cell disease) and an unsubstantiated argument from authority provides merit to your argument further shows you're closer to a narcissist than a logician.

Insulting and writing a novel whenever someone disagrees with you is no substitute for a decent argument. You are not nearly as clever as you think.

No you're just a weak individual who doesnt like fact which doesnt appeal to your world view.As said, you use terms like chauvinism and you're seeming to be on the cusp of calling me a homophobe too (completely misunderstanding the context of my statement). You're just another ******* liberal. The point on homosexuality was simple, even drastic changes in sexual behavior have little to no basis in genetic of evolutionary biology (its amusing that I am willing to bet you're actually going to get up and claim they do) so for a cisgendered, heterosexual woman to sit here and pretend that she is somehow "wired differently" is comical.

Thats the entire goddamn point you turdmonkey. People trying to claim that their apparent desire for no children and solitude is "just the way they are" or the fact that they're "wired differently" when its much more likely that said behavioral abnormalities are due to socialization, a lack of opportunity or access to desired mates or simply coping mechanisms. If your coping mechanism is something which diametrically opposes some of the most fundamental desires of your human nature then you need to start asking yourself whether said desire is a healthy one. Christ, your very own statements contradict the entire basis of your very arguments.

My conclusion of homosexuality is not "amateur" at all and I am willing to guarantee that you're some fukktard who reads pop-science rubbish in Huffington Post and then tries to palm it off as fact.

I am starting to get the feeling you're a bitch. Be honest, you're a female miscers arent you??

lol, narcissists crumble under the same heat they give out.

I don't read Huffington Post, I'm not a chic (and have a post history going back to 2003 to suggest as much unlike you), I've probably never used the term chauvinism on these forums, you baselessly assume I would call you a homophobe in order to make a straw-man argument (bad logic again on your part), and your juvenile insults further show your hand.

Nothing in your garbage post either justifies your unprovoked arrogance towards other posters or shows that you can form a decent argument.

I've extracted the main point here to stay on topic. I think the last sentence is prudent - if desires contradicts the most obvious natural desire, then it's worth questioning/introspecting. For example, if a man says he is asexual, I would question that heavily as a possible coping mechanism.

All I know is that I'm too much of an introvert to ever be capable of having a GF let alone children. It's been almost 10 months now since I even interacted with another human IRL besides the cashier at my grocery store. Never been happier in my life since I was able to move away from my hometown and get away from all my friends and family and just live in solitude.

Ok, you say you're happy but what about your family and friends who you just left behind without keeping in contact with them? Do you understand/care that it might hurt them?

Bingo.

The point on asexuality is also spot on. When you look at the data, you tend to find that genuine asexuality is pretty fukking rare (with some believing its a myth altogether) but this is the age we live in. Zero introspection. People want to wallow in their dysfunction and parade them for the world to see or they want to put on snazzy labels for made up "disorders" in order to feel special. Its all one big circlejerk of cope.

Its nothing complicated...as said that Tysj1 poster is another sycophant raised by a single mother who perpetually walks into chitty relationships and thinks society is to blame for his bad decision making...I notice these people like to drag everyone else into their misery. You'll notice this alot with people who cant find mates

"Its not that I have behavioural issues, its that marriage is wrong and children are awful"

Yeah, sure.

Holy Fuk, this thread has turned into a fuking mess. People typing paragraphs upon paragraphs each post because some people want kids and others don't. I think it's better that the people who don't want kids, don't have kids. If they're happy just worrying about themselves then let them do that. Some people aren't meant to have kids, doesn't make them any less of a person. Personally my son is everything to me and he's the reason I do a lot of chit I don't want to do. I work at a big company I don't really wanna be at but I stay here because the pay and benefits are great which is what I need for my son.

These career driven women wouldn't have time for kids because they make their life about work. I'd rather people not have kids if they can't invest the time into their children to ensure they grow up healthy physically and mentally. We've got enough fuked up people already, we don't need even more. A lot of these career driven women will probably regret not having kids later on in life. But they'll be able to buy and do whatever they want with nothing holding them back. So it all works out in the end.

The point of the discussion is not to try force people to have kids, it's questioning the root cause of this modern phenomenon where more and more western people choosenotto have kids - the potential negative impact on both society as a whole, and their own long term happiness as they live with the decision of career > family.

It does apply to both men and women, albeit at an older age for men.

Bla bla..there's already six billion people on this planet, I 'm sure it can survive without me having kids if I don't want to.

Worry about your own miserable lives, and let others do what they want.

Ive been really curious about this:

What im most interested in is WHEN america started to have a political climate shift. It doesnt make sense why thered be a massive shift imo, and when you look at stuff today, i think its very clear there is a huge liberal cause, multicultural integration, etc.

It makes me believe those kgb videos when they talk about infiltrating america and trying to establish marxist ideas within universities; that it would slowly erode cohesiveness, the family unit, identity, comradarie, etc.

Like i said ive been trying to figure out WHY america would shift and it would make sense somebody tried to infiltrate to make changes

I think this is the beginning of what youre talking about

I just don't understand this freezing eggs mentality. Do they expect that people will then implant the eggs when they are 50, so you'll then see women in their 50s pregnant.

And then who will be supporting these children? Do they hope the 30somethings who freeze their eggs will save their money to raise children while being members of AARP? The over 50s will have a tough time getting jobs in hi-tech due to ageism, so I don't understand why people would agree to freeze their eggs and delaying childbirth. There's no guarantee those eggs will work in a 50 year old woman.

Or do they expect these people will just go away and have babies when they are too old to work (i.e. ages 40-50), which makes no sense since social security starts at age 65.

What are they supposed to do between 50-65???

I think the idea is that a woman would freeze her eggs and then later (after her 'career' days), shell out cash for a younger woman to carry her child?
