Only fools laughed. I didn't have the funds to invest around that time, by the time I could afford to put yayper into it, BTC had already broken 600, sadly I missed that boat.

All of these hard forks have been a mess. Hopefully we will see these prices start rising soon. It will be nice to see some widespread implementation of the ethereum network, but we could be looking at that taking a few years, and some new players might come in. I have a good amount invested right now, and I plan on holding for a while.

I think it has tons of potential, and could possibly be bigger than bitcoin. Unfortunately its still largely in an experimental state. Luckily the eth is cheap.

I would say so. Metropolis should be rolling out soon, and now may be one of the cheapest times to buy. Its like 8.40 a coin right now. I have bought at $12 and it dropped to $9 and I scooped some up there, and some at $6. Currently im in the black with my investment.

If you buy just keep up with the news and hold for maybe 1-3 years. You have to be pretty patient. If I would have sold at some of the points where the price dropped several dollars I would be in a pretty bad position.

This feels like a good time for Eth. The technical team behind it is amazing despite the hacks, projects are going to start coming out this year, industry support is evident. I guess in the short term it all depends on whether BTC investors freak out after reaching the all time high. In the long-term I don't think BTC is relevant to it, and I don't think that we'll see Eth this cheap for years to come.

Agreed. Really looking forward to further work on swarm. I think 2017 will be a good year, and it will be even better if Pos is launched and it works. Im really excited for 2018-2019 though as long as there are no major problems.

For short term I hope eth takes a little dip so i can accumulate a little bit more for cheap.

Amongst all the chit misc threads, thank you OP for introducing me to ETH.
After reading extensively about ethereum i invested and made a serious amount of money.

Bought in at $12.50, sold most of it at $18, then bought back in at $8 and now it's at $15.50.

Replying to myself, $15.50 at 27th feb, 13th march right now almost $29. Almost doubled my money since last post, this run is ridiculous. Might need to look for an exit point soon and rebuy later not sure if this can be sustained.

There will be corrections, but a lot of the money is fresh right now. I dont think there is really a good exit point considering holding is usually the best strategy.

90% of the misc are seriously stupid as ****. Itโ€™s strange how much value the 10% of smart ones provide. Keeps me coming back despite have to weed through all the nonsense from most of you idiots.

Eth will continue to moon and most of you cucks will let the opportunity of our generation, and human history really, pass you right by. Not only that but argue against it with a false sense of certainty. Just lol at such stupidity.

Facts.

Subbed to this gem when I found it because I knew it would age well. I know many people who are far more formally educated than I and some would say more intelligent who will won't "risk" buying any crypto. Mind boggling really.
