No idea how ifantilizing people is "positive"
As far as in concerned when people age theyre journeying through life getting as far away as they can from that infantile stage where infants are putting their hands on stoves to realize theyre hot. Life is the opposite, vying for individiation with the ability to synthesize and deduce information down to a level they can interpet themselves and then turn around and convey it through whatever medium they wish
What the fuk happens when they have jobs and theyve reset their brain back to a child's?
I guess if people really want to kill themselves and feel like theyre "reborn" but i think there are solutions that dont tske you back a few years
Knowing the brain has plasticity is enough to overcome most problems, though a lot of people will want to take the easy way out

Second-
It doesn't "reset your brain back to infancy". I'm saying when you are on lsd it allows you to think in a different way. Tons of influential people and inventors have taken psych drugs and credit their success to using them. They aren't for everyone though.
Researchers have already attested to the fact that led is an amazing drug with very big possibilities. The problem is getting the federal govt to get behind funding for the research. A lot of it is privately funded or they run out of money before a big study can be completed. They are only allowed to do so much research bc it supposedly "has no medical value"
.....like they say weed has no medical value ...jajajajjaja
Btw
They are going to be using MDMA for ptsd in 2020. It just got approved.
Lots of uses for psychs.if you don't wanna use them that's your choice. I just think it should all be legal.
Edit: sorry for typos phones a pos. auto correct to led lol

Ive posted the articles many times on here. Lsd research showed that it "opens up" the brain akin to that of an INFANTS.
I thought we were both talking ego death, but apprently you arent
I had very bad experiences with weed, and i know of many studies that show weeds side-effects. So while im not sure it should be banned, its not positive for everybody

Why would knowledge - the opposite of what youre promoting - and using the standard definition of knowing the way things work - not diffuse just as much stress? As far im concerned, most people get anxious when they DONT understand whats going on

Drugs are very enjoyable, but in order to expand your mind with them, you have to have the right experiences while high. And you have to be at the right level of high to comprehend what is happening.
If you read a book, or do some studying (not mathematics or engineering), listen to a lecture or ted talk or even just go outside and just explore the city and nightlife after a couple of bowls or a little dab, you will not only enjoy the experience much much more but also get more out of it.

Your 2nd point is exactly my point. Removing the filters exposes you to everything and means youre at the mercy of the brain
When you have some sense of identity, a decision between right/wrong - also motivation to do something with it, you are NOT at the mercy of your brain. Youre using and distinct advantages to you

Because alcohol is too deeply ingrained in Western culture to ever be banned. Prohibition in the US failed because it failed to take into account how central beer was to Germanic culture and wine to the culture of Italians. The main reason for its failure though was the fact prohibition only sought to interdict supply and not demand. It was illegal to sell alcohol but not to consume it. If you fail to reduce demand for a product through deterrence then you'll never successfully ban it. That's why the current war on drugs is failing so badly. Western governments, bound by international treaties, do almost nothing to punish consumption of drugs. The only two nations who do so are Japan and South Korea. And unsurprisingly they have low rates of drug use.

I feel like people should learn to like themselves more, not the opposite
I will agree with you, though. Socially its not that easy - in that, people want to bring you down

You can see people have massive anxiety from reading the misc.
What that causes is people second guessing themselves and their surroundings. So, when they do something like smoke weed it makes them artificially relaxed. Same thing with being drunk. Then, they can think and see things right in front of their face then couldn't before. That's because they have an internal running dialogue of anxiety.
Drugs aren't expanding the mind in this case they are dulling a part of it down.
Through thinking and looking at life sober, you can learn how to control anxiety and see the world around you.
Steve Jobs:
Probably had anxiety issues.
But, what I know he had to have was many many huge amounts of hours studying and working on computers. If one time he took some drug that reduced his anxiety, that has nothing to do with his success. Rather, sitting for hours for most of his life working on computers did have everything to do with his success.
Saying drugs create mental success is empowering people to give up and live in dream world.

Anyways lsd , dmt, weed, and mushrooms are all non-addictive.
Lsd is literally the safes drug out there. The LD50 of lsd hasn't even been found for humans yet and you can't smoke enough joints to OD on thc.
Alcohol on the other hand destroys people's lives and I haven't seen a single good thing come from people drinking alcohol. When's the last time you heard of a mind blowing invention being created when someone was drunk? I'd probably guess never.
The only thing that destroys people's lives on "hippie drugs" is that the cops will lock you up.....Ya know, so you won't destroy your life lol

Psychadellics (sp?) should definitely be legal.

Rather, sitting for hours for most of his life working on computers did have everything to do with his success.
Saying drugs create mental success is empowering people to give up and live in dream world.

Only American potheads say what OP says.
Alcohol is actually healthy unlike all other drugs, if consumed in moderation.

And you'd be the *only* person I've ever heard of who has had horrible experiences with weed. Maybe it was laced with some ****.

Anxiety makes it next to impossible to work productively as you have chest pains, hands shake, stomach pains, 3 trains of thought going through your head, and any fire drill at work just exacerbates that.
People who haven't experienced this high level of anxiety have no idea what sufferers go through. People think depression causes the highest number of suicides, but it's really anxiety because living like that is a complete hell-hole.
