You said nobody cares.
Now you are saying if you are engaging with someone you do care.

10/10 OP.. what was your thought process in coming up with this solid conclusion? It hit all the right notes.

Good points in OP. The problem with a lot of FAs is that they are too comfortable with their self-loathing, defeatist attitude. They're too happy and comfortable moping around since being depressing and fishing for sympathy is more rewarding than going outside and trying to fix what is ailing them.
Like that quote in Rocky Balboa, if you know what you're worth then go get what you're worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hits.

My rule is to find and build relationships with people that DO care. It's way more gratifying to have a bond with 5 people that care vs 50 cucks.

Good post. I've come to realize this on my own life. I totally agree with everything you've said. It's weird that I too enjoy talking with strangers more than family/closer friends. It shouldn't be that way but it is.
Thing is, if you try and break that cycle of focusing on yourself, it still doesn't benefit you in any way. People will be themselves and will only care about themselves. It's the nature of mankind. It'd be cool to find some really genuine people, but are they way they are, and I don't blame them one bit for it. That's why some relationships can be really tough, because it doesn't ever feel genuine.

Pretty good OP.
This hits on something I hate about FAs when it comes to girls which I'll explain via a story: I remember once when I was a young teen I was going into a new school, and it was raining as I was going in. I, for some idiotic reason, let myself get soaked and acted like I didn't care, because I thought that my lack of caring about being wet would look cool and because I reasoned that girls like guys who look and act cool. At best, I probably looked like an idiot who didn't know that wetness is uncomfortable and that it's good to stay dry. At worst, nobody even noticed and I made my day more uncomfortable for no reason. There was no benefit to my sacrificing of comfort, I had just imagined that there would be.
This is how many FAs continually act when it comes to girls, wherein they'll sacrifice their own pleasure and comfort for an accrual of imagined benefits. They'll not hit on a girl they like, or they'll act all lonery when they're out, or they'll not talk to people, or they'll wallow in pity at no-gf rather than fixing it, and then they'll revel in the pain that results from their lack of action. They think that living out their life with lots of wallowing self-sacrifice somehow adds up points on a sort of Universe-Fairness-Scoreboard, and with enough self-sacrifice, you'll eventually get your rewards and will catch up with everyone else in terms of life progress.
That's not how it works. Nobody notices your self-sacrifice. Nobody cares. You get no points. You're doing yourself out of pleasure.
If you're wallowing in pity because kissless virgin, be aware that your descendants would be far more proud to know that you fixed it by - for example - banging the cheapest nastiest hooker in the most vulgar fashion possible, rather than wallowing in pity on your own until you're old and pitiful. Fix your problems yourself, don't expect people to notice your suffering and to fix them for you. Nobody gives a sh*t, and even your best, most well-meaning friends, will be happy for you to stay exactly how you are forever.

You're not at your idol's level. Your body can't take the load that Arnold puts.
You want to emulate someone who is one step ahead of you, who has been in your shoes previously.
The steps that take a company from $1 million to $100 million is different than the steps that take it from $100 million to $1 billion
You're not Kobe Bryant (or Nate Robinson if you want someone with an average physique). An average chump would be better off modelling himself after a high school basketball star or college D2/D3 player

FA covers such a wide range of people with different issues that threads like this are just... pretty much useless man.
You may be right that a small percentage of people who call themselves "FA" may be able to resolve their issues using the methods you stated, but others have other issues ranging from anxiety all the way to being sort of socially retarded. I don't mean that as an insult in any way, some people are just not built and wired to interact well with others. Sure they can improve slightly with a lot of effort, but I knew kids throughout school who were not just shy, they had some sort of condition that made them difficult to socialize with (i'm not educated enough about autism and other such conditions to comment more specifically about these various conditions).
Point is you're trying to resolve the issues of a large variety of people who have artificially grouped themselves under this ever encompassing umbrella of "forever alone". It's not a scientific term, just a bunch of internet randos who made up a name to describe a condition which doesn't truly exist.

Here's another one. If you are not a lazy sack of shiet than you will be more successful than if you are a lazy sack of shiet.
The problem is stating the obvious doesn't. Get people to change. There are a lot of reasons why people are the way they are.
Essentially you are saying just sack up and push forward correct? Easy to say but everyone walks a different path.

Most people are so wrapped up in their own 9-5 cuckery that they have blinders on and don't see anything else. That's why people who commit suicide get a lot of, "If I had known I would of helped" or, "OMG I'm so shocked" from the people that knew them. Almost nobody cares and nobody is paying attention to anyone but themselves. And really... are those the people that you want caring if you are a FA?
Honestly, it's a big reason why celebrities often become huge fuk-ups ... they know (deep down) most of the people that surround them on a daily basis are just leeches and don't really care except for what they can gain. Same is generally true for true HBBs. It's the reason why people were so friendly for a week after 9/11 and then went back to being a-holes.
Even if you are cool and did do something genuinely interesting and awesome ... you will find:
- A small group that do care because they have their chit together or they are at rock bottom and desperate to be part of anything.
- A small group that doesn't identify with you at all.
- The vast majority that might ask surface level questions or none at all because you put into question the value of their 9-5 cuckery (nobody wants to be reminded that their life is lame)
The other things most FA's do is get to a despair point where they alienate the few people in their lives that somewhat (like care about your health - or in an obligatory way like family) care. You act distant, weird, or ignore them so that they reach out and finally ask, "WTF is wrong" ... just so you can then say, "Nothing! Fuk Off!" It's like a last ditched effort to for a sense of significance. Constantly pushing people away also gives a sense of penance in a fuked up way to prove the paradigm in your head that you are a FA piece of crap.
How do you get out of it? Simply realize the truth and take action...
Most people are so screwed up they don't care, your self-pity hasn't made your life better in anyway, and the only way forward is to be the hero in your own movie... meaning... don't be you (sorry but the you sucks) and start being the person you dreamed of. ACT AS IF / FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT / MOTION CREATES EMOTION ... until you become that hero.
...that's theruleNOT theexception.
- The vast majority that might ask surface level questions or none at all because you put into question the value of their 9-5 cuckery (nobody wants to be reminded that their life is lame)

terrible advice. i've had periods where the only thing holding me back from calling it a day was not wanting to upset my family. i wished no one cared so it'd be easy to slip away.
turning around a failure isn't as simple as acting a certain way or following role models. it's about problem solving. figuring out what's causing you to be fa and then finding the courage and resources to start forcing change. some things like genetics and upbringing need years of work. a lot of it is working hard as hell to figure yourself out and then being able enough to take opportunities if they come along. most of it is physiological.

You're not at your idol's level. Your body can't take the load that Arnold puts.
You want to emulate someone who is one step ahead of you, who has been in your shoes previously.
You're not Kobe Bryant (or Nate Robinson if you want someone with an average physique). An average chump would be better off modelling himself after a high school basketball star or college D2/D3 player

There are hundreds of books written by hundreds of successful people that layout exactly how they went from point A to point B.
I'm not sure how you took what i posted to mean ... take your 120lb coping body into the gym, through 300lbs on the bench, and knock it out. Scratch that... i know exactly how you took it to mean that. Because you have this internal translator that puts a negative/backward spin on everything.
Back to my original post ... stop trying to prove to yourself that you're a piece of chit that can't make progress.

One of the things i've been doing lately is correcting myself anytime is use the word "try" on a personal level. Why? Because it implies failure.

I'm not trying to be Mother Theresa with this thread. I'm just stating what I've seen in my own struggles with BS mindsets.
