It's possible they are able to do one (say that using the pistol braces as SBR's means they are SBR's) but not the other (take items off NFA)
So the only way for suppressors to be removed through the NFA is legislation like the HPA, correct?

TFW you buy 2k magtech @ 19 cents a round (after shipping) and then blazer puts out 19 cents a round as well (without shipping though)..

On the surface it seems like it would be better for the ATF to just go ahead and do it themselves, but I don't know the full language of the HPA. This of course assumes that there isn't any weird chit done by the ATF while removing them.
Either way I think it's a step in the right direction based on the fact of the language they used alone and how that can just as easily apply to SBRs (and to take it a step further, machine guns, though we all know that's unlikely).
Damn that's crazy.

I'm sure the ATF could just do that themselves voluntarily (if they're able), but there's not guarantee of it like the HPA provided. Aside from that, I'm not sure of any details that would make a difference between the 2.

There's one I have heard of that's supposed to be a little less expensive and great for Old Fashioneds--and a couple stores carry it. Not sure I can picture myself buying it a lot, given the name. Fighting Cock Bourbon. Maybe RThoe can pick it up for me?

Then again, has a state AWB been challenged in SCOTUS? With Gorsuch I can't imagine SCOTUS not ruling in favor of the Second. Someone has to have been hurt by it in order to file the lawsuit correct? I'm assuming so otherwise groups like Calguns would have filed a lawsuit that would have eventually worked its way up to SCOTUS, at least that makes sense to me.
