Just not very good quality control, could be good and could not be good. Personally I think you should pick up an Aero lower and parts kit then build it up from there since I'm assuming you would put your own trigger/stock/grip on this one anyway right?

It is DPMS pattern and would work but I will say that an Aero upper 308 on any other lower than Aero's will look ugly as fuk.

Then why write that letter at all? Is it just to indirectly endorse the HPA?

So the only way for suppressors to be removed through the NFA is legislation like the HPA, correct?

TFW you buy 2k magtech @ 19 cents a round (after shipping) and then blazer puts out 19 cents a round as well (without shipping though)..

On the surface it seems like it would be better for the ATF to just go ahead and do it themselves, but I don't know the full language of the HPA. This of course assumes that there isn't any weird chit done by the ATF while removing them.

Either way I think it's a step in the right direction based on the fact of the language they used alone and how that can just as easily apply to SBRs (and to take it a step further, machine guns, though we all know that's unlikely).

Damn that's crazy.
I would think that ATF couldn't do that on their own, but I really have no clue.

I think the only con to ATF doing it without HPA (if they're able) is that the HPA had a provision for refunding anyone who paid for a suppressor stamp since the bill was introduced I believe. I'm sure the ATF could just do that themselves voluntarily (if they're able), but there's not guarantee of it like the HPA provided. Aside from that, I'm not sure of any details that would make a difference between the 2.

I think that is organized price wise right, at least for here. Obv there are a ton more bottles but those are the ones that I'll gravitate towards if I can't decide
I'll have to add Ancient Age in the eval process. Didn't really like Buffalo Trace . . . maybe I got a bad bottle but it had a weird finish, like cough syrup or something. Was not enjoyable. Tried Evan Williams 1783 and it was "ok". Trying Evan Williams Black Label now and it's a little sweet for my tastes. Maybe will try ancient age next.

There's one I have heard of that's supposed to be a little less expensive and great for Old Fashioneds--and a couple stores carry it. Not sure I can picture myself buying it a lot, given the name. Fighting Cock Bourbon. Maybe RThoe can pick it up for me?

That's true. I wonder if they would even allow that to be part of the bill though. It may get amended to remove that. Can't imagine big daddy government will want to go through the hassle of tracking much less paying these people back. What I would like to see is some type of provision or amendment in the HPA that can't allow states to ban them on their own. Not sure if that's even feasible or if it would even matter since look where we are with some states.

Then again, has a state AWB been challenged in SCOTUS? With Gorsuch I can't imagine SCOTUS not ruling in favor of the Second. Someone has to have been hurt by it in order to file the lawsuit correct? I'm assuming so otherwise groups like Calguns would have filed a lawsuit that would have eventually worked its way up to SCOTUS, at least that makes sense to me.

What I've read is that pro-2nd groups have held off on pushing stuff to the SC because of the 4-4 split, now that a proper justice is gunna be in place to replace Scalia they will move forward.
