Apparently was a standoff in Mexico between a drug cartel leader and law enforcement . . . Mexican marines decided it needed a little more cowbell to end it.

For defensive shooting practice, coming from the holster and from a low ready should be the norm.

This is one I like to do at the range with the computerized target system . . . can set a distance and a timer for whatever intervals you want to have the target flip to face you and go back to its edge. I like to set it and practice going from low ready and then getting a shot on target before the target flips back. I haven't really tried much double-tapping with that, but I need to at some point. Have been more focused on just getting one good shot.

Need to get back to the range soon . . . been far too long since I shot the last time.

Wana throw a scope on my AR and take off the eotech. I know some sights specify calibers. Never owned a scope before. Would this work on an AR-15? Only want to shoot to 300 yards max.

on a non gun note, suprsingly hit 80'sx4 on db press today. Pretty surprising since I haven't gone above 45's for a while now (been doing a "program" where the focus is more in resisting on the negative, slower concentric contraction and squeezing at the "top" of the lift). anyhow, inb4 dear diary/i warm up with that.

I don't remember whether or not I commented on it last night or not. John Wick II was great. Very little requires complete suspension of belief. Guns run dry after a reasonable number of rounds fired. Reloads have to actually happen, a lot. Single gunshots don't "instakill" people unless they're through the face.

The only thing that was a little circumspect was their treatment of silencers, which, whatever, it's hollywood.

Yeah . . . thought about doing that to start with, but it was a few bucks more and it doesn't look like they sell a 1.75 (at least not that I've seen out here). So it's starting to creep up around the price of Bulleit that can be had at a Costco out here. So I'll see if I like this and will go from there. If I'm going to end up pretty close to Bulleit anyway in the end trying to save some $$, then I might as well just keep getting that and splurge on the Breckenridge to have occasionally.
