Unicorn update:

Getting some decent traction now less than a day in. Most girls are 6's. Have about 15 matches between bumble and tinder. I get your strategy, but Ive taken plenty girls tinder cherry (at least thats what theyve said...) so I wouldnt necessarily rule out girls that havent met up on tinder all together.

Depends on your aesthetics, profile optimization, market and minimum standard to swipe right. If you are a 7/10 with a dank profile in a hot market that will bang 5/10's you can prolly get by without plus/boost.

Tinder is prioritizing which profiles get seen first:

1. Boost
2. Superlikes
3. All the rest

Besides the 1 free superlike you get each day without plus, chances are your profile is getting 1/10th the exposure it was getting pre boost. Why? Because almost every thirsty guy with a job is throwing down dinero to boost. Mo' money mo' boosts mo' matches.

So if you arent boosting your prifile is on the bottom of the stack. And lets say a girl is swiping through her stack so you would "think" your profile is getting closer to the top. But its not since 20 more guys just boosted in your area so shell have to left swipe a ton while not getting over whelmed with the right swipe matches before she can get to you...which she may never will if her stack is full of boosters/superlikers.

And as long as tinder is boosting enough attractive guys for her to swipe/match...nothings changed for her.

It doesnt cost a lot to boost really, but bumble doesnt cost anything...

You just can't have a top tier city that is the highest living standard in the English speaking world, with some of the fittest, best looking and highest earning men, where the ratios are highly in women's favors, and your AVERAGE basic property costs $1m (the highest property prices in the English speaking world on an earnings to price ratio) and not have the women become entitled, lazy, kunts.

When a girl arrives here from elsewhere she'll be amazing compared to the locals, as soon as she starts dating around though, game over. I swiped right today prolly +100x's on tinder (with Plus) and prolly a chitload more on bumble (free). I'm selective and only swipe right on 6+/10.

And this is the difference between bumble and tinder for me. Bumble matches for me are a little older (late 20's early 30's) and a little less attractive (that's because the Chads have the hot girls on lockdown on Bumble. Super competitive).. But the biggest difference I've seen so far (in general) and could be cuz they are older and not as pretty (on average)...is that Bumble girls flake less and match to smash conversion ratio is higher. The theory is that the ones that open are more engaged than tinder girls that reply to your opener (for the most part)...and I'm getting opened to by a higher percentage of bumble girls than tinder girls that reply to my opener. So the trade off is worth it for me tbh which is why I'm not going balls to the walls boosting like a madman to get a ton of younger cuter tinder matches that don't reply to my opener or flake when it's time to meet. I'd rather swipe on bumble, let them come to me and sort out the ones that are dtf. Not saying I'm doing away with tinder, I'll prolly add a supplemental boost every now and than, but I'm not gonna go crazy over it since bumble is giving me equitable results for free and less time.

Today is my first day on both platforms.. I liked prob 100x on tinder, no matches but I got a super like from a 7. Can't like back yet cuz out of likes lol.

Bumble seems like it has much higher quality women from what I've seen so far. I live in Phoenix, so I have a feeling there's very little chance I'll get seen by most girls on Tinder due to sheer population out here without boosts.

Guys getting limited matches with free tinder, make a fake FB and get 50 friends, fill in occupation, like a few pages. Then make a fresh account. You will get more matches, i've done it enough times to know that resetting an account on the same FB even once throttles you big time.

Also, has anyone else noticed that if you spoof even 20 miles away from your current location, you get loads more matches? I did this off a fresh account with new FB and got loads more than my normal area. Weird. Also if i drive say 50 miles I get a shedload more than my home town.Granted I am in the middle of nowhere really but the nearest city is only 12 miles, maybe most girls have their max distance set to 1-5 miles.
